Munchkin Sparrow Ultra Compact Travel Stroller

pros- stroller is super compact and easy to put together/break down. my 14 month old seems to find it comfortable and it is very light weight. cons- has a hard time getting over an bump/irregularities on the sidewalk, right handle doesn't fully lock and jiggles a bit and the lock/unlock levers are hard to engage (espcially with shoes on). overall I like the stroller but absolutely wouldn't pay full price for it (it was listed at $220 when we purchased but got on sale for $175+ 20% off for the carseat event)

This is perfect for flying. Super easy to open and close. It’s so small when closed, it’s considered one of your carry on items. Fits under the chair or you can place it in the overhead compartment. My granddaughter was comfortable in it and didn’t complain once. As I bought this solely for flying, I have absolutely no complaints. Things to consider if you’re looking at this stroller for other than flying. •it doesn’t recline • do not buy for baby. Only for 1 and up. • it has a very small shade cover. Toddler will be exposed to sun. • toddler’s feet will hang. • small compartment under chair. It’s big enough for the stroller bag and small Stanley

Loved this stroller initially, folds up nice and small and fits in the overhead compartment of an airplane. However, my son was in this to go on a walk with his grandmother and it collapsed and broke during their walk, causing him to fall out and my MIL to fall and hurt her knees. It was fully opened and all legs locked, so that was not the issue. Poorly made product. We’ve had it for 2 months total so it did not experience too much wear and tear, and now it’s broken. Will be returning and making a complaint.

This stroller is impressive. It folds up sooo compact, which saves a ton of trunk space! It was able to go under our airplane seat and made traveling so much easier. The material is nice and it’s easy to fold and unfold.

I have to fly internationally a lot but also travel within the states for pleasure. I purchased this while on sale and with a discount code and so far it has been a great investment. It folds/unfolds super fast; which is great at terrible airports like LAX and in Europe. My son seems comfortable, breaks are easy, the canopy isn't going to so you any good in the streets but for airports it's perfect. The basket at the bottom is flawed, the frame makes putting anything in it a bit awkward; this isn't a problem personally because we travel with a diaper bag that would be too big for any stroller (2 under 2). At full price I think it's a bit much but on sale would recommend for anyone who has to spend some time at airports.

I’ll give it five stars because the whole reason I bought it was because it is compact. It is very good quality. It is sturdy stroller. I wish the sun visor was a little bit larger as it does not provide a lot of shade. Plenty of space for your child there’s not much space underneath for your bag. The straps are not very soft. Make sure you adjust them before the first time you use it because they do you take a moment to secure. The stroller rolls extremely nice. It also folds up very very easily. I would purchase this again I love it.

I really love this stroller and the convenience of it. It’s great for travel, it takes up little space and the carry bag can also double as a storage bag if you hang it on the handles. I am glad however that I did not pay full price for this as I don’t think it’s worth the price. If feels flimsy when steering, the storage under can barely fit a small purse because of the support bars, there is no foot rest and the seat is too far bad for my son to be comfortable for long periods, but also doesn’t go back far enough for naps (which has been a huge problem on big trips).

Traveled with it through Europe, we take it to Disneyland quite a bit the stroller itself serves the purpose of compact and easy to lug around. Down sides shade is useless wish it would extend… can’t put even a changing pad on the handle because it won’t hold it and the bottom cargo can’t hold much due to the bars blocking it but I would get it again because of the lightness and convenient side of it ! Would I pay full price knowing what I know now ? No… definitely get it on sale

Good things about this stroller, its very compact when folded, comes with a bag to carry, and lightweight. The wheels are reasonably good to maneuvre. We used it for two weeks for an abroad trip and used it quite extensively. Here are some of the negatives we observed: 1. Absolutely useless when it rains 2. The paddings in all the strap (Top two, and bottom one) keeps falling off when not strapped, and you will have to keep picking it up from the ground. 3. When folding , the two back wheels dont fold automatically, and you have to manually press a lever that folds it and be prepared to touch the wheels by hand to fold them, no matter how dirty they are. 4. Storage although looks good, there is a couple of support beams that block it from loading large objects.

The size and weight is excellent! The frame of the stroller is quite flimsy and you can’t place too much weight on it. It served its purpose but wish the frame was sturdy to support the cost

Perfect for international travel with a toddler. Absolutely saved the day at the airport - flight delays and cancellations led to hustling through terminals with a jet-lagged toddler. Folds up and down so quickly and fits perfectly into the overhead bin.

Well made simple to use. A little heavy for grandma but she manages.

Well suited for travel, compact- helped with tired toddler. Not good for napping. Wheels endured tough terrain around pyramid sites but was not easy to maneuver around rough terrain. Fit under airplane seat. Loved the carry on bag! Wished they sold attachment parts for this stroller like a foot rest or extra shade canopy. Will be using this as our go to stroller for our active toddler everyday now to free up space in our trunk lol love the invention!
