A: Are you sure they’re definitely fixed? We have the same issue in our Sienna and there is a tiny keyhole slot on the side of the base (the base where the pins slide in). If you stick something in there they come out completely. I used a kabob skewer but a small flathead screwdriver might work.

A: I use 2 of these in the back of my Dodge Challenger that has headrests that don't come out and i just go over them and it works fine.

A: I found it easier to purchase a second car seat for my 2 cars. The struggle of constantly moving the seat is not worth it.

A: It would probably be easiest to have two of them, but that's not financially feasible for everyone. I will eventually be buying 2 so we don't have to worry about switching between cars. It's really just personal preference.

The dimensiond of the SlimFit is approximately 19.75" wide per seat. For 3 across you'd need at least 59.25" inches of usable width, allowing for proper installation and clearance. - Graco Team

All car seats (excluding belt-positioning boosters) manufactured after June 30, 2025, pass testing to these new standards. All Graco car seats manufactured before this date have undergone rigorous side impact testing to our internal standard and are safe and meet all the regulations and standards active on the manufacturing date.
