We have the same issue in our Sienna and there is a tiny keyhole slot on the side of the base (the base where the pins slide in). If you stick something in there they come out completely. I used a kabob skewer but a small flathead screwdriver might work.

Q: Would I need to purchase 2 of these? We use two different cars. My car and boyfriends truck. So we would need to move the car seat back and forth to whatever vehicle we are using that day. Or is the car seat easy to transfer?

A: It would probably be easiest to have two of them, but that's not financially feasible for everyone. I will eventually be buying 2 so we don't have to worry about switching between cars. It's really just personal preference.

Sturdy and durable. This seat is exactly what the doctor ordered for our baby inside our Audi sedan!!! Really easy to install and a definite space saver. I love how versatile it is. There are many adjustment levels according to weight and height which is my favorite part — this is such a good investment for a growing kid. Love the padding. All in all, this is a good looking, ridiculously functional, hardy option for a car seat — really grateful to have this. I could easily see us purchasing this a second time if another baby was in the picture! I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

With the Graco slim 3-in-1 car seat, it’s been a complete upgrade for our rides. The space-saving design is everything. I drive a compact SUV and was constantly stressing over how cramped the back seat felt with two car seats and the grocery, diaper bag, toys, etc. This seat actually gives us room to breathe! The rotating cup holders are such a smart touch—when I first saw them, I wasn’t sure it would make a difference, but they really do help slim things down without sacrificing function. My toddler loves having his drink right next to him, and I love being able to move things around for more space. There’s plenty of legroom for my active kid, which has been a relief—no more kicking the seat in front of him or twisting uncomfortably on longer rides. We just had our 5th baby and we have three in car seats. This car seat was the perfect fit to add to our mini van and still have a little room left over. It’s a very nice looking car seat and I love how easy and functional it is to use. It’s so easy to hook up. We have it forward facing and didn’t have any problems installing it. I love how easy it is to adjust to my child the on handed adjust is so nice. It took no time at all to get a proper fit for my 2 year old. The slim design is so much less bulky and fits so easy in the car. The cup holders are nice because you can open them up if you have room or they kind of fold into themselves if you need more space. I do have to say that though it is slim it is still pretty heavy. It’s still not a car seat I would love to haul through an airport but for a stationary car seat that I don’t plan on moving it is perfect. That’s why the 4 stars. I just wish it was a little lighter. Over all it is a sleek, nice looking, easy car seat that I would recommend.

This seat is awful, cheap quality and impossible to move from one car to another should you need to. We were gifted the much more expensive Graco SnugLock seat as our primary and got this as the backup and regret it. We will be getting a second pricey SnugLock instead and are incredibly disappointed with this seat.

Our vehicles are on the smaller side and when you have to fit everyone’s things, a pack&play, two car seats, a large dog, and two adults into the car, the space dwindles quickly (iykyk). So anything that saves space is a lifesaver. The slim design definitely helps with that. Because it isn’t too wide, we are able to utilize the middle seat for cargo which is super helpful. We have used it forward facing with our 4 yo (45lb) and rear facing our 1.5 yo (22lb). Love the versatility and that it is comfy and usable for both kiddos. Install is super user friendly which is a huge plus. The design is modern and sleek, and the material feels and looks high end. My favorite features are the ease of install and slim design. My kiddos love the cup holders! They never go empty on our watch and honestly, you can never have too many cup holders. I do love that they fold in if you need to save more space. The versatility is really handy. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this one our way. We are putting it to good use!

We were previously using a larger 3-in-1 car seat, but it was big, clunky, and took a ton of space. It was hard for the Grandmas to lift. This Slimfit model feels way lighter & more compact, but my little guy still has plenty of space in the car seat. He said it’s “comfy” the padding is nice and plush. We like the all black and especially the rotating cup holders! It fits easily on our seat without hanging over the edge at all. Super easy to install, the lightness made it even better easier to maneuver and position. This will make car seat swaps from car to car faster and easier, 100%! I especially like the middle buckle is easily slid between 3 different positions to accommodate the size of your child. This was something I always struggled with moving on our other car seat, and it only offered 2 positions. Overall, this lightweight, space saving, sleek & stylish, easy to use car seat has been a win for us! Thank you Stellar Panel for the opportunity to try it out.

We now have 4 of these car seats and honestly, the slim design is essential to make our smaller SUVs as space efficient as possible. The rotating cup holder helps preserve room. Installation was a breeze. My kids sleep easily in these seats so the slim design doesn’t sacrifice comfort. We plan on using these rear facing as long as possible, then forward facing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first took the slim fit 3 in 1 out of the box we noticed how comfortable the padding and material was. It installed easily into our car with the latch system. We have had a hard time tightening the strap in other models but this one was quite smooth. We currently have 3 kids across in the backseat. One rear facing child who is 1 and used this seat. We also have a high back booster using kiddo and a big kid who sits inbetween them. He noted right away how he had more room and it was easier for him to buckle. We can tell that when we turn the seat forward he will also have much more space than with our previous seat. The adjustable cup holders are a convenient feature. They are very low profile compared to most other models but still give the toddler the option to have her drink or snacks within reach. We are excited to use this seat for years to come. The only con we would say is that when in the high back booster phase this seat is much heavier than a typical booster seat because it has the latch system for infant/toddler use, so we likely wouldn’t choose it for moving from car to car but rather keep it as a permanent booster seat in the main car. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this seat. We are enjoying it!

We had a different car seat for our older two children, but after trying the SlimFit 3-in-1 seat, we purchased two more for our other children. We love that it offers rear facing, forward facing, and booster options, it really grows with your child and works through every stage of car seat safety! It’s comfortable for all three kids of varying ages (infant, 2yo, 4yo) and the sleek design fits all three seats comfortably in our SUV. Our kids are comfortable and secure on long road trips and we honestly couldn’t ask for anything better.

This car seat far exceeds my expectations. Installing was a breeze and feels so secure. My toddler looks very comfortable in it and doesn’t have any meltdowns.
