Q: The packaging says "do not steam sterilize" are they safe to use in a dishwasher that uses steam sanitization as part of the cycle? Also, are these phthalate free? What kind of plastic are they?

Hard to clean and plastic peeling
We've had this bowl set for only 3 months and have noticed the plastic at the bottom has begun to peel. We handwash with a sponge and never even put it in the microwave. Also if you used any oil to cook with, it's oddly difficult to wash the bowl completely to ensure no oil film remains. Very frustrating considering I love the weighed no slip bowl bottom. Tired of these suction cup plates and bowls.
