Q: The picture is showing that this product is Non-Dairy, however, the Label Info is showing milk as being an ingredient. So is this dairy-free/vegan, or no?

A: Muscle Milk does not contain fluid milk, but it does contain dairy based proteins (calcium & sodium caseinate, milk protein isolate, and whey). Following FDA labeling guidelines, we use the non-dairy classification since it is consistent with their regulations. With our consumers in mind, we made sure to indicate on the front of the pack that the product "Contains No Milk / Includes Milk Proteins" to help inform those with allergies.

Chocolate milk
Thick, chalky, tastes like expired ovaltine. Dude bros seem to like it and maybe it’s easier to chug this rather than eat regular food. If you are needing meal replacement shakes for health reasons there are tastier, less expensive options. If you need to boost your ego and are embarrassed to be drinking actual chocolate milk, you probably wouldn’t mind spending $10 on this.

Tastes gross. Would not get again. Artificial and vanilla-y flavors. I regret getting a 4 pack, I could not even finish 1. I gave the rest away to my friend who also does like the flavor but is drinking them for the high amount of protein.

The Worst
If I could leave 0 stars I would. The taste of artificial sweetner is so strong I was only able to take two drinks before having to throw the container away. Really awful. I think this is what Tab Cola must have tasted like.

Enjoy the flavor of deep chocolate. This has been my go to for quick breakfast or to help recover after I hit the gym. You can’t go wrong with this chocolate flavor. At times I will put in a large coffee mug & put a shot of expresso & makes it even better.

I decided to try these since I’m having trouble finding the Fairlife shakes I love. This is the worst protein shake I’ve ever tasted. It literally tastes like pepto-bismal. It does not taste like chocolate at all.

This is my favorite protein shake - incredibly little if any “protein taste” at all. It just tastes like a chocolatey drink and is very easy to stomach. The nutrition information is well balanced and I love that it is also non dairy.

best price, best of what's out there
My husband drinks a ton of these, we would prefer something more food based, but haven't found anything that fits his dietary requirements. Target has by far the best price and I love having them delivered, I don't need to get a hernia too!
