poorly made
Unfortunately this carpet is super pooly made. It's cute but will not last. The teal lines are looped and the multil colored lines are tufts of the ends of bits of colored fabric. I've had this item less than 24 hours and first we noticed the colored strips shedding tiny threads. I decided to vaccum it today and see if maybe they were just a loose layer on top. Two passes with my vaccume cleaner and teal loops have started to come loose and the canister of my vaccum is filled with little colored threads from the multi-colored strips. Although an attractive rug, I would NOT recommend buying it.

Hello, This rug is made of wool. The wool will shed with the first few vacuums then it'll be fine. Please make sure the vacuum bar is not too close to the pile.
