Trying the Sandalwood & Shea Butter from Native 🤎

Buy if you’re not dry!

The only complaint I have is that it does not spread smoothly on my dry skin. The stick is durable, hasn’t crumbled at all. I have not gotten any body odor while using it. Definitely buy if you’re not super dry like me!

Doesn’t Work
At least it smells good on the stick. It does nothing for odor, which is understandable because no aluminum, but the sweet scent just mixes with odor and creates a weird smell. It also causes so much gunk. Not talking about the stage where your body is adjusting to no aluminum. We know it doesn’t stop sweat but the formula mixes with the sweat creating even more “liquid” under the arms. Tried for multiple months so it wasn’t the adjustment period.

I love every other deodorant I’ve tried from Native, which is why this one was such a letdown. All of my other shea butter products have a mild, pleasant scent, so I expected the same here. Instead, the smell is extremely strong and pungent. It is so overpowering that I wouldn’t put it on. Sadly, I won’t be repurchasing this scent anymore. If you have a sensitive sense of smell, I do not recommend this scent.

There’s no baking soda which I hear helps with less of irritation people can feel. It smells so good of course and goes on so smooth! Only leaves residue if I apply too much 😅

Something has changed...
My wife and I have been using native for over 3 years and have spent we'll over $2k. I've always used sensitive and never had an issue but with this last order, I am having to reapply mid day where I NEVER had to in the past. Also, both my wife and I have noticed that we have a slight irritation that we never had before. This review applies to everything we ordered.
