I just took my first dose and so far so good but I can’t help but pay attention to the dosing. If the max daily dose is between 310 to 420 depending on the person, why does the directions say 2 (166 mg gummies) twice daily? That’s a total of 644 mg daily. Am I missing something? Why are we advised to take more than the recommended daily dose?

It's kind of like a sour patch kid. Tart and sweet. I actually had fun chewing on these. I did notice over time of taking it a better mood in myself. But, the truth is, I could only handle taking them for a couple days, and only one day I could take 2/2 that they ask you to take. The reasoning was the taste. First, they are covered in sugar, which for an adult gummy isn’t really necessary or wanted, in my opinion. But perhaps the reason they covered in sugar was to help the taste- they are bitter, kind of sour, and taste nothing like cherry. They taste what you would expect a vitamin or mineral to taste like, if that makes sense. So this was a poorly executed attempt at making it easier to get your magnesium! I’d much rather swallow a pill or something like that- if I’m going to take a vitamin supplement in gummy form it’s because it tastes good and makes me want to eat it. So this was disappointing. I don’t recommend unfortunately.

The gummies have made me use the bathroom, if you know what I mean. I usually do that in the mornings. I’ve been taking my gummies mid-morning and they have made me go again in the afternoon. I have to say that while I found them to be okay & will finish the bottle, I won’t be purchasing them on my own for a couple of reasons. First was the fact that the directions state that you need to chew two gummies twice a day, taking four gummies each day, so in a 60 count bottle, you are only going to be getting enough for two weeks. That just seemed like a big commitment to consistently buy a supplement to me. The second thing was that they are truly very tart & it took me several days to be able to chew them without a pained expression on my face. I know that flavor is really all about your individual taste though, so if tart is your thing, you’ll love these, but they weren’t for me. I also wasn’t overly impressed with their results when it came to my anxiety, so for those reasons, I won’t be repurchasing.

This would only be a 15 day supply for 40% of your recommended amount of magnesium. The gummies contain cane sugar, natural flavors and tapioca syrup. Might as well eat a candy bar, it would taster better
