Tried these filters and for two pour over cups of coffee in a row the filters tore dropping all of the grounds into the mug. Do not recommend these for pour over brewing.

The box may say 40, but you'll have to use two at a time if you don't want grounds in your coffee. Used one at a time, these might as well be a funnel. If I could give them no stars, I would.

The first couple of filters worked fine but then I had a couple open up and flow right through including the coffee grounds into my cup of coffee. I am using a cone over my cup. It's random and the last couple I looked at the seam to make sure it was sealed properly and it looked fine but as I would add water over my cone into the filter, it would unseal and there goes the coffee grounds into my cup. Called Target and they are going to take care of my filters. I will try new ones to see if it was just a bad batch. These things do happen. I will put another rating when I get the new filters.

The seams at the bottom keep breaking and letting all the coffee grounds into my coffee. Personally I like my coffee pulp free, hence why I got filters. They break maybe 60% of the time
