The wafers are light and I liked the texture and the sweetness of the bar, this is a good go to snack if you are craving something sweet. I just wish it was less than 200 calories per bar.

The lemon flavor is not overly sweet, so it tastes like it is filled with expensive lemon curd. It is so buttery! The wafers are crisp and have a little glaze to balance the tart of the lemon. We love that they have 14 g of whole grain and no artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup. We highly recommend this new Nature Valley variety of snack bar and will try the other varieties as well!

I think people are confusing the chemical taste for the actual wafer taste which is kind of a card board smelling taste. Then you get a really strong oat flavor from the crunchy oats on top. Not sure how they managed that string flavor since there are so little oats. Then there is a sweet hardened icing on the top wafer. Then a creamy, tangy, lemon custard in between the other two wafers. This is definitely a desert bar so dont think these are healthy at 200 calories and 9 grams of sugars.
