Check the packaging quality
Taste wise the artificial flavors stand out more than the granola and it gets overwhelming to the teeth and out of a box of 5 only 3 came properly packaged/sealed

Taste good, but i bought on impulse. I was hungry 30 minutes later. I should’ve look at the nutrition label. Just buy a candy bar, these basically have the same ingredients. Disappointed. There’s better out there.

Too much salt for this old salt.
Whenever I thing of Nature Valley, I think of good quality, healthy (usually) snacks. I've been eating the granola bars for decades! My favorite snacks are the almond butter biscuits. Yesterday I bought some strawberry wafer bars thinking they were going to be light and sweet. Unfortunately, they taste like a mouthful of salt. Why is everything about salty-sweet these days. Think I'll go back to just fruit and nuts and make my own from here on out.

Ditch the palm oil when you get a chance
In the event a product/marketing manager for Gen Mills and/or Nature Valley reads reviews on 3rd party sites: Hello! These look like a treat my kids might really enjoy. The main thing giving me pause re: purchasing is the heavy use of palm oil + lack of transparency on how you source such oil or how it's cultivated. Palm oil production is largely unsustainable & contributes to climate change via deforestation, among other ills (per WWF, see palmoilscorecard dot panda dot org). Palm oil is also high in sat fat & healthwise isn't the greatest food oil to be consumed en masse (& it's used in so. many. widely available food products.) If you're here, anon marketing mgr: please, at a minimum, consider showing a genuine commitment to using sustainably farmed, ideally traceable palm oil (unless maybe switching to a diff oil type entirely is an option – so much the better in my view, but you know the business & all that)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a good snack. It’s not something I would get all the time but it tastes good and is different than a regular wafer. I do wish it had more of the filling.
