When rotation of the capsule starts, a pressure is implied due to the centrifugal forces.

Each capsule has a barcode under the rim, which our Vertuo machines read, to know how much water to brew through our multiple different sized capsules. We do not have refillable capsules to use in our Nespresso machines.
