Q: Is it dishwasher safe? How does one clean it?

A: The Aeroccino 4 model is dishwasher safe. All previous models should be washed by hand. If washing Aeroccino 4 in the dishwasher, do not place directly onto a dishwasher pin to avoid scratching.

Q: does anyone else have a problem with milk overflowing? I put less than the maximum fill, used all different types of milk and it overflows every single time!

A: To avoid overflow, only fill to the minimum line if frothing the milk with the attached silver coil. If just heating the milk (no coil), the maximum line can be used.

I use mine daily since they came out with them…
Ive had my Aeroccino 3 since they came out and use it daily at least once, sometimes multiple times a day (I’m a heavy latte drinker, what can I say!) I have NEVER had any issues with milk overflowing, leaking, ‘bursting’ etc. I think these bad reviews are because of user error not machine error. If you follow the machine fill guide, you won’t have ANY issues. I have used whole milk, almond milk, goat milk, coconut milk, and even added a slash of whipping cream once or twice. I almost always add vanilla extract (or another flavor) and very often add just enough simple syrup to cover a thin layer across the bottom of the machine.

Did not over fill but it overflows
I just bought the aeroccino 3 in a bundle with my nespresso mini partnered with Breville. I was excited to finally have an espresso machine that works and the frother was an extra bonus. I'm sorry to say that on the first try after filling the frother midway between minimum and maximum it popped the top up and when I tried to secure it the froth overflowed onto the sides of the frother and the electric heating plate and my counter. I had heard that it is just a glorified milk heater but didn't want to believe it. I guess they were right. It did froth the milk really well, likely not good enough for any latte art if thsts what you're looking for. Kind of disappointed that there's no way to guard against this... seems like an easy fix.

Horrible
I have had this frother for about a year, and it is horrible. It leaks everywhere and it doesn’t even warm up my milk as it should. I always fill to the lowest mark and it keeps leaking. I don’t recommend it.

Brand new and will not work!!!!
I received one for my birthday and when I went to use it it will not come one, I've tried everything, went through the instructions checked online, and it still will not come on. Light will not come on.Nothing works. This is very upsetting.

Fantastic product
I have owned one for a year now, it works wonderfully will all different types of milk (of course the ones recommended). I wish it could be dishwasher safe, but otherwise it’s fantastic. I wish the pink one was out for a little longer I totally missed the window.

Does not froth. I have tried it so many times and get a tiny bit of foam that dissolves. I also do not know how it makes 3 different types of froth because there is only one button.

Brand new out of the box doesn’t work and corroded
I bought this as a backup in case my other frother went out (old one is 8 years old and still working great) and just went to try the new one out today right out of the package after having it for a year - it doesn’t work at all. I push the on button and it starts out red like normal but the internal frothing piece won’t spin, then the button blinks red. I tried this several times and nothing at all. I looked at the bottom of the frother and it looks corroded??? How?? It’s brand new’ I am sorely disappointed in this product and the trouble shooting online is suggesting I take it apart and mess with some wires which I will absolutely not do. This is so disappointing and now I can’t return it because it’s past the return date. So much for a reliable frother.
