Q: Can I froth less than 8 oz? Like around 4 oz? What is the source of electricity--I don't see a cord in the photos. Do you charge it on the base the photos show?

A: The minimum amount of milk needed for this frother is 3 ounces. The base of the device has a cord to plug into an outlet. The frother can only operate when placed on its base, but can be lifted once frothing is complete to easily pour frothed milk into your mug.

I’ve had this for almost a year and use it every day. It’s awesome and I haven’t had any issues with it. I make sure to at least rinse it out after use if I don’t have time in the morning to wash it. Then I use a bottle brush to wash the outside.

I bought this milk frother about 4-5 months ago, and let’s just say we’ve had a relationship. A bad one. Its idea of frothing is warming up the milk and lazily tossing a few bubbles on top, as if to say, “Good enough, right?” Spoiler, it’s not. It hasn’t broken yet, tragically, so I can’t even justify replacing it. In short, this frother does the bare minimum and nothing more. Save yourself the frustration and buy something better.

I did not know I would wake up on day 118 and the switch would be broken and the frother would not work. The return period is 90 days. : ( Choose a different brand. I love Bodum items but this is a miss.

Works fine until it die!!! I don’t like that the item lasted six months. I thought I was stepping up from the hand frother. This item is trash and so is Bodum customer service. Non-existent. Don’t expect any response from them after you submit all information for a replacement. I sent pictures and a copy of my receipt and I’ve heard nothing.
