Directions ■ To use as a cleanser: Wet face. Squeeze into hands and gently massage all over the face, avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. ■ To use as a mask: Do not exceed 2 to 3 times per week. Squeeze into hands. Smooth an even layer over skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow to dry up to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. ■ Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. ■ If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. ■ If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. A: In my opinion not really. I don’t get a “deep clean feeling” afterwards even though it tingles during use. It’s good for maintenance I guess if your skin is already mostly “clear” although I haven’t used it consistently. I think it works best after makeup has been removed and you’ve already washed your face w a cleanser

I’ve used this product for YEARS since I was probably 12 years old. A dermatologist recommended it to me and I have used religiously since (I’m 28). Clears pores as a cleanser and an amazing mask as well for any breakouts. I have recommended to so many friends and they all love it as well!

The only downside is a strong scent and a tingling feel if I use it too often, so I alternate with gentler products and always follow up with a moisturizer. This daily cleanser/mask is amazing! I was having a breakout with more than usual acne! I bought this to try and see if it would work to start clearing up my skin and it starting working instantly! I use it to wash my face in the morning and in the evening I will put it on as a mask! It does not have a smell to me which is something I also like about this product!

My daughter bought this and used before bed. her face and eyes were absolutely red and swelled up so much I was going to take her to the er to get a shot, if I couldn't get it down with an ice pack and benadryl within the hour.

yes, this is incredibly strong. It will tingle and make your face red and probably a little warm. if you're super sensitive, I would skip it. but, I do have some tips that I've found through trial and error. -Rinse it off using room temperature water. using warm or cold will make it burn. Gently pat your face dry, don't rub. use a moisturizer immediately after. once I figured those things out, it's worked wonders.

Aroma Neutrogena smells are more pleasant, fresh, with light notes of menthol. It's not harsh and not annoying. I like this fragrance better, it creates a feeling of purity and freshness. The texture of Neutrogena is also creamy, . When in contact with water, it becomes more "soapy" and foams well. Like a mask, it dries on the skin, but not to the state of "crust". Neutrogena's packaging is also standard for the brand - a plastic tube. Convenient to use, no complaints. This is where Neutrogena, in my opinion, wins. But like a mask... Girls, it's just a salvation for my pores! After use as a mask, the pores become noticeably cleaner, black dots are less pronounced. The feeling of freshness and cleanliness is simply amazing. It can dry the skin a little, so I always apply a moisturizer after use. Neutrogena contains salicylic acid - it is a key player in the fight against acne and blackheads. It is she who, in my opinion, makes this product so effective
