Neutrogena Mineral Ultra Sheer Sunscreen - SPF 30 - 3oz

Neutrogena seems like it wants to cancel itself. Good products. Good prices. Then, removes products. Increases prices. I get it. You are now kenvue. but you seemingly have no view on how to retain customers who were once loyal to you. Case in point? this product. it replaced a perfectly good product. it worked well. People liked it. So, what do you do? you discontinue it. Smart thinking. all the white cast anguish from some of these reviews are just whining. it is a physical sunscreen. rub it in. it mostly goes away. if it irritates you, find another product. but stop with the woe and pity stuff. i hope the new ceo can right the ship. you have been losing customers for years. and you continue to do so when you get rid of products your customers like.

There are better sunscreens out there. Make sure your skin is hydrated and exfoliated because this sunscreen will show every piece of dry/dead skin. I didn’t have this problem with my Shiseido sunscreen. So I would not repurchase this sunscreen because it makes my skin look awful. Also it makes your skin look pale, so it would be better if you put makeup on over it unless you are going to the beach. Pros: - doesn’t leave a greasy finish - protects the skin - affordable Cons: - makes you look pale - accentuates dry/dead skin and pills

I would give it zero star if possible. all the silicone you had in there made it difficult to spread. the titanium dioxide and Zinc Oxide, left a very visible blue hue on my face from The type you used, hence it was not sheer. I worked in the cosmetic industry for 36 years, with sunsceens, so I know the difference. Definitely wasn't expecting this result from your company or a product that claimed their product was ultra sheer.

this sunscreen is alright but it pills quite a bit, which concerns me about what kind of sun protection im getting out of it.

I do not recommend. I looked like a ghost after applying it on my face. Difficult to wash off.

Getting it delivered without a seal and some weird ink stain on the outside, led Target customer service to just autorefund. Target phone support had no info on whether the seal was supposed to be there so they redirected me to Neutrogena. Target probably should have that info though! I did call Neutrogena because I was curious. They said, this product, despite being sunscreen, doesn’t come with a foil seal or tamper sticker/ring. Neutrogena said it’s part of their initiative to reduce plastic packaging. I gave them feedback about applying additional labeling or updating the product details online, so consumers don’t get weirded out by the lack of seal. This is especially true for products that get shipped because the customer doesn’t have the opportunity to check the shelves for packaging consistency. Anyway, since Neutrogena verified my item is probably fine, I will test it out. (Target please don’t come for me for using what you delivered. I had no say in the refund situation.) I was looking for an alternative to my go-to mid-range unscented mineral sunscreen because the price went up by a lot. Hopefully this works well and doesn’t trigger my weird allergies. So far, no lingering white cast on my medium skin and no skin reactions!

It autocapitalized. I am not angry, fyi. The regular neutrogena dry touch is my favorite sunscreen ever. I thought this would be the same but i was very wrong. It does block the sun, but leaves me looking like i’m cosplaying as casper the friendly ghost. It transfers to absolutely everything. My dress, my purse, my car. I am scrubbing white sunscreen off everything. I had to wash my body three times to get most of it off but i fear i will find remnants for the next ten years. At the very least i am well exfoliated now. Two stars for doing it’s job, but i will stick to the other dry touch next time. Dear god it’s Embedded in my eyebrows.

I use anti aging products on my face and need to use a daily spf, but I wanted a pregnancy safe spf. This does the trick! I apply this before my make up for the day and it protects my skin, and it gives me good hydration! I love that I don’t feel like I’m damaging my skin using this product. I don’t find that it leaves my face looking white or anything, personally.

I bought this two weeks ago and i got the worst reaction ever. White cast, thick, smells weird, takes too long to absorb into skin, strange reaction to my makeup primer, the worst acne ive had in 2 years, even in unusual spots like my temples. Do not buy this

I usually enjoy Neutrogena products. First time buying the Mineral Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 30 a week ago because it checked every criteria for my sensitive skin. Seems like a fine product at first (not greasy, light and smooth, no perfume...) but I honestly don't understand how other reviewers can say that it does not leave a white cast, and I already have pale skin. I tried different tactics: using a little or more, hydrating my skin before use, rubbing a little or more, tapping it in instead of rubbing, waiting for it to sink in, but it still looks like chalk on my face. I looked at myself in the mirror at work and it made me look like a ghost. I Will unfortunately not be able to use it.

I was so disappointed with this face sunscreen because it pills and leaves a white cast. It doesn’t look good with or without makeup.

This sunscreen left a white residue that stayed on my skin for days despite washing it with soap and water. It does not mix well after rubbing it in for a long time. After awhile it even pills and flakes off. The only thing that was good was that I didn’t get sunburnt.

Turned my skin a white pale shade. Not good at all. Returned this product.

I dont understand why this pills so much! I am applying it in small amounts and rubbing into dry, bare skin but it makes me look like I have dandruff all over! It is a shame because it did not irritate my sensitive skin and for that I gave 1 star but it is unwearable. The pilling is awful and a deal breaker for me. :(

Horrible white cast. Impossible to rub in. I have very fair skin and the white cast on this is as bad, if not worse, than zinc sunscreen for babies. Not sheer at all.

Sheer sunscreen is a game-changer! Its lightweight texture feels amazing on my skin while providing excellent sun protection. No more greasy residue. Love it!

I've had the hardest time finding an affordable non-tinted daily mineral sunscreen that doesn't make me look like a ghost and doesn't feel disgusting. This goes on VERY white at first, but after a minute or so of blending, and after about 15 minutes of drying looks and feels beautiful. For me, there is only the slightest white cast and it wears off quickly. I have SUPER sensitive skin and am allergic to all chemical sunscreens. I also have a skin barrier that was somewhat damaged the first day I tried this and there was absolutely no stinging on the skin or in the eyes. I normally have stinging with normal gentle moisturizer when my skin barrier is damaged. This caused no issue at all. I am prone to breakouts and have had no problems with this. I was using the hero sunscreen before - at twice the price. It was the closest other affordable option for me. The finish and coverage on this is so much better. And I think the cast is less. Go buy it so Neutrogena will keep making it!! I wear it without makeup, so I can't speak to how it works under that, but give this a try - especially since it's affordable and you get 3 full ounces for the price!
