What is that taste?
I will start by saying i have used the neutrogena lip balm in the black container for years and years. This new formula in the clear package does not hold up. It feels slimy and spreads onto my face. But worst of all is the taste! I feel this awful flavor in my mouth all day. Please go back to the old formula so i dont have to find a new product. I loved it so much!

Why did you change the formula? While the new lip balm feels similar on application, it leaves a weird taste in my mouth and doesn’t seem to last as long as the original. Please go back to the old formula!!

Like so many others on here, i have used this lip balm for years! My go to was petal glow 40 which had a beautiful pink hue and aift shimmer. The new version is not even the same shade and doesn’t even last once applied. I could live through reapplying, but the color change has ruined it for me. I’ve begun looking for an alternative by a different brand. Bummer neutrogena…lost me as a customer.

Tragic reformulation!
This was my favorite lip balm for like 12 years. The new package/reformulation that is not the black tube, now tastes like a mouthful of SPF. And its very hard to get rid of that taste when wiped off. The colors and texture are also more sheer and less moisturizing. Very very bummed. RIP ⚰️

The taste of it is very strange to me. I do appreciate that is it a lip balm with SPF since those can be hard to come by. This also leaves a strange residue on my lips and I didn’t find it to be too hydrating. The color is nice though.

New formula is awful. The taste is odd, and it makes my lips feel dry, feeling like I need to reapply after just a few minutes. I've been using the old formula for a long time. It was lovely - great color, easy to apply, and lasted a good long while. I thought maybe it was just me or that I bought the wrong thing, but I see now I'm not alone. I also see on the packaging that the new ingredients are not the same. Please bring back the old formula. I don't want to have to find a new lip color. P.s. I never write reviews. That's how strongly I feel about this one.

i loved the OLD lip balm in black container. The new one in pink dispenser is UNUSABLE.! There is a HORRIBLE taste!!!
