I liked this but my face started flushing - very easily turning red and feeling warm - with any activity whatsoever, even during a conversation. Stopped using this and that went away. Could be a coincidence, or one of the ingredients might be sensitizing for my sensitive facial skin. Wasn't worth it for me to experiment and figure it out - now use as a hand soap instead. I notice they have a new version (listed separately from this) with no PEGs and some cica for calming. That one might be better?

This product didn’t further irritate it at all, even with the lovely scent! It leaves a nice clean feeling with the gentle foaming action. I like the square shape of the bottle, it seems easier to fit into cabinets and the slightly wider than average size of the pump handle makes for easy use with wet hands. Great price, great formula!

I used this for years. I have very sensitive skin and it was gentle enough to use every day. It removes most makeup but leaves some eye makeup behind. Overall if you don’t wear a bunch of makeup, this would be a good affordable choice!

I have extrememly sensitive/hyper reactive skin & this cleanser doesn't strip or dry my face out at all. If I need to remove makeup I double cleanse & go in with a non pore clogging oil first... then when the makeup is gone I cleanse my skin with this & it works great!

I’ve been using this cleanser for years and i absol loved it. The only gentle cleansee that would actually take off my maleup. This last purchased i realized the formula and bottle had changed. Ive been getting small breakouts since using the new formula. Please bring the old one back!

Neutrogena has always been a go to brand for me since high school. I have very sensitive skin. The Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser takes off my makeup and mascara. I can use it everyday day and it doesn’t strip my skin or disrupt my skin's natural oils or barrier. Other brands have either dried out my face or caused breakouts. I use it every morning and night as a part of my daily routine. If you have sensitive skin this cleanser will leave you feeling fresh without feeling tight and dry.

Absolutely worth the shot! The product’s texture is amazing, super light and easy to apply. It doesn’t feel heavy in your face, you don’t even feel it. WRITING this here because the one skin cleanser that was safe that was made by Neutrogena is being discontinued. (Their gentle hydrating, creamy cleanser… They prefer foaming cleansers because people think they must be doing more because they foam up, but those actually have dangerous chemicals that ruin the skin barrier. It It must just be another case of big Pharma and big companies wanting to make money and not worry about the safety of their products.
