A: This foam rug gripper pad should be safe to use on luxury vinyl plank, as long as it's kept in a temperature controlled environment and not dragged beneath heavy objects.

A: We don't recommend placing the rug gripper pad in the washing machine, as it can damage the PVC material. Instead, simply wipe down our rug pads with a wet cloth and mild detergent. The grip pad is approximately 4 millimeters thick.

I like this material better than the sticky felt rug pads for my hardwood floors. I remember purchasing this type of pad several years ago from Target (no idea what brand) but they were a lot puffier, this one is pretty thin in comparsion. It doesn't feel like it gives the rug I bought much extra padding. You also may need to lay some books on it to let it fully flatten as it's folded and packed so tightly the ripples are hard to lay out, I didn't do this and as a result I can feel some places under my rug where it needs tugged/flattened. It's cheap though and when you're buying a rug adding a rug pad feels like breaking the bank, I do still think this is worth it.
