Nexcare Duo Adhesive Gauze Pads - 4ct

Allergic reaction, I suspect to the adhesive. I wish it was clearer to find out the exact ingredients of this product.

Target failed me on this order. It was to arrive Thursday, yesterday they said Friday, and today delivery says it won't be here until Monday. I wonder what tomorrow will bring. I pray an infection doesn't start because I will run out of fresh bandages on Thursday. 😥

Won’t even stick for more than 5 minutes

I purchased these new care duo a week ago and they have been a disappointment and a waste of my money. I was going to put a 0-never but the program would not allow that box to be utilized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, having received this free sample box, a proper review needed a proper opportunity in order to be honest and reflect real-life application. I finally got that chance today in a freak "accident" involving the hard plastic frame on my car's fold-down backseat. "Wow, that hurt! Where's those Nexcare Duo samples?" Quickly cleaning and disinfecting the wound, I then applied a layer of antiseptic ointment to the gauze on the Duo, and carefully applied to the hand. The Duo was large enough to cover the entire area. Excellent! However, a thin layer of the ointment seeped onto the adhesive part of one corner of the product, and the adhesive completely melted away! There's nothing on the product to stick to the skin! Never seen that happen before. Apparently the adhesive doesn't like petroleum-based products. The areas not compromised seem to be holding on well after several hours. Tomorrow, after a shower, I'll use a smaller amount of the antiseptic, reapply another Duo, and see how that works. I suspect there will be better results.

The bandage stayed on for 3 days protecting my cut without the edges curling or coming loose and no water entered the bandage. It was placed on an arm with lots of hair yet when it came off—no pain and it left no adhesive residue. I would recommend this bandage for all minor cuts and abrasions.

The material is flexible and moves with your skin all day without pulling. I would recommend these bandages.

They stick very well and keep water and other stuff away from wound but the great thing is... they don't hurt to pull off. My son needed one for a skateboard injury and it kept up with him being very active and outdoors.

My daughter gets nervous when it's time to remove a bandage for fear of the usual skin-pulling. With these bandages, I'm hoping to avoid that drama.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of this product to evaluate. The package contained 4 pads of generous size. They are flexible but strong and stayed on all day, even after showering. They came off fairly easily though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nexcare DUO Adhesive Gauze Pads are the perfect size to properly cover larger curts and abrasions without having to use multiple bandaid or gauze pads and adhesive tape. The adhesive parts adhered well with minimal hair and skin pulling. The size was perfect for large area scrapes.

Okay, I ended up dinging my shin and the large sized Nexcare™️ DUO Adhesive Gauze Pad filled the bill. I received this product free from 3M to evaluate last month and finally got to try it out. It was easy to apply, flexed with my movement and had a strong hold. Almost invisible, this came off easily without sticking to skin or hair. There’s will become a staple in our first aid kit, especially when I’m flying around.

The issue with many bigger bandages is that they have a large pad of gauze, but a tiny area of adhesive. This one has a pretty good balance of both. The surface area is impressive. It has the right amount to remain flexible and stay put. It’s as comfortable as a bandage can be, and I like that it removes easily and painlessly. One thing to keep in mind is that it only comes with four bandages, which isn’t ideal if you need to change them out regularly. If you’re lucky this one will last a couple of days, otherwise you may find the need to get a few packs. I like these bandages for their ability to stay on while covering a lot of space, so I’d recommend them.

Working with gauze and tape is always a pain so I like that these are large and more like a bandaid. Only 4 come in a package but you may not need them as often as smaller bandages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to have a mole removed from my very lower back. It’s not an easy place to change a bandage and keep the wound clean. I have extremely sensitive skin, and have had reactions to adhesive bandages in the past. So I was skeptical at first to use an adhesive gauze pad that is strong enough to stay on for 72 hours! Then I thought about how annoying it is to keep trying to get the bandage on correctly, and usually having it fall off mid day, so I figured I have nothing to loose, and I tried it. This NEXCARE Duo adhesive gauze pad is like nothing I have used before. It’s thick enough that when you are placing it in a hard to reach area, it doesn’t fold up on you, it actually goes on flat. It also has an extra large area around the gauze which I think helps it to adhere so nicely. The best part was it fully stayed on over 48 hours. When I removed it, I was shocked by how easy it was to remove and how it didn’t hurt or irritate my skin. Unfortunately due to where I had to use this bandage, I cannot post pictures of it in use, but I am posting a picture of the back of the bandage so you can see the thick perimeter surrounding the gauze which I think helps it stay in place for so long.

They have a large pad and about 1/2" of adhesive fabric bandage on the edges to adhere to skin. I like that they are fabric and the gauze is extra absorbent. The adhesive is good and they give guidance on how to remove safely - pull the bandage back on itself instead of up. I received a sample of these bandages for my honest opinion.

Surprisingly these Nexcare DUO Adhesive Gauze Pads are also easily removed. As a mom of four I need products I can rely on. These adhesive gauze pads are great! I will definitely buy these next time I need adhesive gauze pads.

It was very comfortable. I removed the pad, also following the directions on the box. It came off easily with no pain and no adhesive residue left behind.

The trouble is that most large adhesive bandages are plasticky, aren’t large enough to cover the wound, and are difficult to remove without opening it up. This is where Nexcare Duo excel. It is made of a flexible material and uses a gentle adhesive which is easy to remove and replace when necessary. The area that goes over the wound and is large and doesn’t stick. If you care about healing quickly without difficulty in removIng the bandage, I recommend Nexcare Duo. I received samples of these from 3M to evaluate
