It’s sulfate-free, so it doesn’t strip my color, and I’ve noticed my highlights stay vibrant much longer. The ProteinFusion blend really makes a difference—my hair feels stronger, softer, and way less dry after washing. It lathers up nicely (even without sulfates) and has a clean, salon-quality scent. If you’re looking to protect your color and nourish your hair at the same time, this is a must-have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nexxus Color Assure shampoo was not a favorite of mine unfortunately. It does not lather up and doesn’t really have a smell. I keep trying to get it to lather and it just doesn’t which makes it seem like you need to use more. Another poor quality is the bottle. I’m not a fan of the pop top because it can make it hard to get out. More so the conditioner than the shampoo. Overall it is priced to high for me to want to purchase again with the lacking aspects that I look for in a shampoo.

There is a light scent to the shampoo that smells nice, and it does leave my hair feeling clean after use. It does not lather very well which is a negative for me because I feel like I have to use more product to get all my hair clean. The other thing is, after consistent use, I did not notice it preserving my hair color very well. I actually think my vibrancy faded slightly compared to my normal shampoo.

It lathers easily and cleans well. It doesn’t dry out my damaged hair and cleans thoroughly. Being sulfate free it is not harsh and does not washout my color. Light fruity scent.

So here we go, first of all I have colored my hair for years, so it is damaged. This shampoo and conditioner has been a God send!! My hair feels so healthy and soft, plus shiny and my color seems to last longer before I need a touch up. Smell is Amazing!! And a little goes a long way!! Definitely worth purchasing!! The packaging is a unique shape that allows you to grip the bottle easily. My hair has a shine to it and no dullness after it has been dried.

With the combination of these products I seem to be able to go longer between washes. I have not noticed any color fade at all. Highly recommend this.

This shampoo is really nice! This contains a Proteinfussion specifically created for color treated hair. This is also Sulfate-Free, so I needed to use a little more than normal. It gave great lather and was easy to wash out. I didn't detect much of a scent. My hair liked this shampoo! It is full of body. It appears stronger, and I didn't experience a lot of shedding after I used this. The protein really helped. My color didn't fade after using this for 4 times a week. I was very impressed with the results. The thing I really struggled with was the flip cap!!!!! I couldn't get it open. Overall, I give this 5 stars and will purchase this! Definitely!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time trying the color assure line from Nexxus, and I would say I have had an overall pleasant experience. The packing is simple and there are color rings on the top to help differentiate the shampoo from the conditioner. My first impression of the scent was that it was a light generic clean scent, but after applying the product I actually appreciated the light scent more. I do use a lot of sulfate free products and many are concentrated so that a little bit goes a long way, but with this one I did feel like I had to use a bit more of the product. I do have very long hair though, so this may not be everyone’s experience. I refrained from using other hair products while testing this shampoo and conditioner so that I could really gauge the quality. Typically, I wash my hair every other day, however, this product kept my hair feeling clean and oil free a little bit longer than other products I have been using. With that in consideration, although I’m using a bit more product initially, it actually goes a lot further. So while I did not feel blown away by the packaging or scent, it actually is a quality product that I would purchase again for a clarifying and clean feel!
