I've tried so many purple shampoos and nothing compares to your old purple shampoo "Simply Silver". I went brunette for years after you discontinued it and when I saw this I hoped it would be similar and it doesn't come close. Very disappointed.

If I were going to review this shampoo on its toning ability alone I would probably only give it 2 stars. After 5 consecutive washes I barely notice a color difference. With that aside, this shampoo has a lot of other redeeming qualities. I have unruly 2c hair that is hard to tame. This shampoo makes my hair soft and shiny! It lathers well but doesn’t dry out my hair. It smells clean without a strong perfume smell. This has led me to explore other products by the same brand. Thank you!

Deeply pigmented purple shampoo, for your Blond hair needs!! Definitely helped get the yellow brass out of my hair, and makes it look a little more platinum. Of course this isnt a toner, but it does help a little like purple shampoo should. Careful keeping it on too long though if you have platinum hair. I recommend even mixing it with another shampoo, not keeping on too long, and dont use every wash. I wait until my hair starts looking more and more yellow, and use purple shampoo and it does the trick. The thing is I like how my hair feels after purple shampoo, and so I want to keep using it. But the lighter hairs I have that are more platinum can start to turn purple-y. So dont over do it unless you want that look. Ive tried different brands, some arent so good, and some are really good but too expensive. Id say this is a good medium!

I didn’t notice an extreme difference with my hair color, but the shampoo itself is wonderful I don’t need conditioner when I use this and my hair is moisturized.

She has tried many other shampoos and nothing compares to Nexxus. Her hair feels great, looks great and smell great after using it. I am not sure how it works for blondes but if it works well for silver hair, I feel like it will do just as great for blondes. 100% recommend!

It really helps reduce the yellow tint in the blondes. I would recommend. Sometimes I throw it on before hoping into shower and really let it soak other times i pop it on in the shower and just let it set a few mins.
