A: Hi Raincloud! In some instances, if the hair has high porosity there’s a chance that more pigment will remain on the hair after rinsing. The violet used in Blonde Moment is water soluble, not a direct dye, so if this does happen any residual color can be readily removed with a non-tinted shampoo.

Doesnt condition well
Also not much purple. Any product needs purple pigment in order to deposit enough color to reduce brassiness this conditioner does not have enough purple pigment in it to do that.

i bought the shampoo and conditioner and used the whole bottles before writing this and it was alright. i noticed a little bit of lightening but not enough to buy again. i also felt like my hair was starting to get really dry after a couple washes. overall, it’s great if you’re trying out purple shampoo for the first time and you want a lil something but it’s not a holy grail for me. to each their own though!

Kept my platinum bright without overtoning. With other products, you have to worry about using it too frequently or letting it sit too long because it will cause your hair to have a purple tint. But I use this everyday and let it sit for a while in the shower and it never overtoned. Also, of all the brands I've tried this one made my hair feel like it was the softest and strongest. My hair felt great!

I’m a natural dirty blonde, I had really light hair as a child but it’s starting to get darker as I get into my twenties. I’ve been using it once a week for only a month and it’s already working! I’ve had a few people comment that my hair looks more blonde, one even asked if I dyed it!

The shampoo itself is ok but I can’t say that I saw any type of difference in brassiness after several washes. I’ve used others, where after one wash my hair is toned. I won’t be buying again.

I was skeptical about what kind of a difference this would make. I was also concerned it would give my warm blonde hair a harsh cold tone that wouldn’t be flattering with my complexion. Terrible residue
I don't understand how they can sell this product when it leaves the worst residue and just doesn't come off. No matter how much I washed my hair out the residue would not come off. I tried it for more than a couple days to give it a chance.

While it’s not the MOST color depositing I’ve ever tried, I think it’s great for the price and isn’t too harsh on your hair. Since it isn’t as potent a formula I think it’s good for just a light simple toning and maintenance between bigger treatments - don’t expect anything too drastic. Scent is not overwhelming or perfumey and it lathers well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i want to start off by saying i very rarely use drug store shampoo and conditioner because it just doesn’t usually work for my hair. i have very dry hair and this shampoo was surprisingly extremely moisturizing!!! most purple shampoo’s are super drying but this was just amazing! now for the purple shampoo itself i did notice it made my hair a little brighter. i have blonde highlights so i didn’t notice the blonde pieces getting super bright but that could be because i have blonde highlights as opposed to fully blonde hair. for the price i definitely think this is great purple shampoo. it works well and it super hydrating! it also smells really good and not too strong which i personally like. the scent also lasts in my hair all day!

I’ve been wanting to try this brand as it gets great reviews online but I’ve never pulled the trigger. It is safe to say I will buy this, especially if I’m in a pinch and not near my stylist! The shampoo doesn’t dry your hair out like some brands.
