Nexxus Curl Define Climate Control Hair Gel Cream - 8oz

I was definitely iffy on getting this product based on the reviews but I decided to give it a try either way and I am SO glad I did. It worked amazing on my hair! It defines the curls perfectly and it definitely tames the freeze a lot more than any other product I’ve used. I’m very happy with this item so far.

It offers a nice hold without being too crunchy or sticky. Helps quite a bit with the humidity of summer and doesn't take a lot of product to tame!

Normally gel weighs down my curls so I always use “spray gel” I came across this and figured I’d try it. Works perfect! And a little goes a long ways! Also smells amazing!! Definitely recommend

Used this in my daughter’s hair. Worked well when I dried it with my diffuser but not when air drying.

I hope they never discontinue this product. It does exactly what it claims, my hair is frizz free and humidity resistant! It leaves a little cast but nothing I can’t soften with serum to make it soft to touch and a little goes a looonnnggg way. I love it for my 3b/c color treated hair!

In this heat, it was nice to have a product that wasn’t heavy and left my hair feeling moisturized. The hair gel cream had a little spout for easy application and little waste. My hair didn’t have as much frizz as with other products, but reapplication was needed throughout the day. The light floral scent wasn’t overwhelming, but I didn’t like it much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nexxus curl cream makes my hair look amazing! It is a softer gel that will make your waves OR curls look more smooth and natural. It does give you a wet look, if you use the right amount it will give you the “fresh out the shower” look all day. I live in a high humidity/wet area so normally I step outside and my hair gets frizzy but this stuff will keep your hair looking fresh no matter the weather conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. When I first tried this product, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It is quite moderate and reminds me of Donna karan cashmere mist. I don't mind it but If you are someone sensitive to smells this may not be an option for you. The texture of the product feels very slick and silicone-y. However, I dont see any silicones listed on the ingredient list. Qhen applying, it is best to do on hair that is a bit more than damp, this helps the product emulsify and spread evenly throughout. I have long, waist length hair and used about one and a half to two pumps per side. After which I used my fingers and a wide toothed comb to distribute and style. When my hair air dried, there was still a bit of frizz at the ends even after concentrating most of the product there. After one day, my hair lost some of the cast. Upon trying it 2 more times, I'd say to place a bit less than needed and really warm up in your hands before applying. As extra product can make your hair feel gummy and clump up after one day. I'll keep using this and experiment with quantity and application method, but overall I am moderately satisfied. I will consider repurchasing unless I find something else that will give me a soft hold with minimal goop

I don't live in a super humid area, so I dont have to worry too much about frizz, but it definitely helped me feel like it was moisturizing quite a bit. The packaging was really nice on it as well. I like that its not overly expensive for a moisturizing hair care product too. And it definitely did what it means to do and defines my curls.

The packaging was nice, I had no issues with the pump bottle. The scent is pleasant, it's a soft cashmere scent, and it's not overpowering. I used this almost every day for about 3 weeks. I refresh my waves every morning & use 2 pumps of product for the refresh & 5 pumps after shampooing. I also diffuse dry & scrunch out any crunch. I live in the South, so using a product that helps with humidity helps tame the frizz, and this product did just that!! I like the softness this product brings to my waves.

The fragrance is very nice, and I love the texture, but my hair would not style with the Nexxus Curl Define Climate Control Gel Cream alone. I couldn't tamp down my frizz or style my curls without extra help. In my experience, this curl gel cream didn't help with hydration either. This may work quite nicely for others, but it just wasn't for me.

When I applied the gel cream, my hair is still soft and keeps the shapes well. It keeps the shape all day. The scent likes shampoo, my opinion is good. The gel cream is easy to apply and absorb on the hair. I love it and high recommendation.

The bottle is a nice size, dispenses well, smells great, and is easy to work through my hair. I used it with and without gel to scrunch my curls, and achieve well-defined, healthy looking curls. It did make my hair soft, used both ways, and air dried, but I wish it brought out a little more shine. I would recommend this Nexxus hair product, and will likely purchase it when my current bottle runs out.
