Does not work for my 3A hair
I was very excited to try this product but it fell short of it's claims. The first time I used it, I did as directed; saturate sectioned hair with the product, and I blew it straight with my Dyson and round boar-bristle brush. From the moment I used this product my hair felt different, like straw and after blow-drying it felt worse. I saw no shine, epic or otherwise. That night was a humid night and alas, the humidity claims fell short. The moment I stepped outside my hair frizzed so much that I ended up putting my hair in a bun. I did use the product a second time but this time I did use a little of a leave-in-conditioner that I love, then I used the Epic Shine. My hair felt better than the first time, but it felt a heavy and there was still a little frizz after blow drying. Conclusion, would I purchase this product again, NO. I do think it clearly works better for those who do not have thick, curly hair.

OK... but not great in very humid conditions
Helps a bit but the nexus hair oil is better. This worked great to start but quickly the effect wore off and my hair began to puff out and frizz. I would like to note it was extreme humidity where I live in MD that caused the product to not live up to its expectation.

Stick to Color Wow
I really wanted to love this product because the value us great. However, the scent of it is really strong and chemically. I also noticed that as a leave-in it does nothing for humidity. It has to be activated by blow drying and heat. It’s an okay dupe for Color Wows glass spray, but there is such a difference in quality. Hair got frizzy within the same day.

I bought this down in Florida for my vacation, I was hoping it would tame my hair, but I do t think it did a very good job. Felt more like hairspray than anything else. For the price, I expected more. I wouldn’t recommend.

Awful smell
I used this product one time and it made my hair shiny with no frizz. However I could not get past the smell. This product smells awful. Some of the reviews say it has a citrus scent but I did not smell anything citrus. I will be returning this product and continue my search for a great smelling product that makes my hair shiny.

I’ve been using Color Wow Dreamcoat all summer, it works but not amazing. I was hopeful with this product, especially with this low of a price. Today was 84% humidity. I was outside for 3 hours total. My hair felt smooth after blow drying but overall didn’t hold up well.

Shine for days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great when I want to blow dry and straighten my naturally wavy hair. It includes 72 hours of Humidity Shield as well as 48 hours of Frizz Control. Plus, it offers thermal protection up to 450 degrees common from blow dryers and hair straighteners. My hair was definitely shiny, and I had no frizz after use, as you can see in my photo. Super effective with no overpowering scent. Love the little spray nozzle, too.

If you want shiny hair on a budget, get this.
This is a very good product if you want shiny sleek hair on a budget. I like the packaging, it reminds me of DreamCoat. As for the scent, it has a really strong citrus smell that I like but it will probably make you sneeze as first, lol! I uploaded a picture of my hair but do keep in mind that I use other products and that factors into my hair’s shine.

Stiff, Sticky hair
I’ve used Color Wow dreamcoat with way better results. Although I prefer the smell to the nexxus version, after drying my hair it felt like I emptied an entire can of hairspray on my head. I followed the directions well — I just can’t stand how stiff and sticky my hair feels.

Terrible Packaging - Arrived Damaged
Wanted to try this, but it arrived damaged - cap was off and the cap holder is very fragile & doesn't stay put. Nexxus, what's wrong with you - don't you test packaging thoroughly? Also, application with the spray is not so good if you have long, curly hair - you'll go through a ton of it quickly. If you change the packaging, maybe I'll try it again in the future.
