This helped a little with frizz, but not as much as I hoped, given the price is twice what I was paying for Garnier Sleek n Shine. Not really great at conditioning my hair either. The search continues.

I've been working a lot on getting my hair healthy again after dying and bleaching so much and trying to get it to fade away too, this makes my hair look and feel so healthy and this has always been one of my favorite brands for hair products. This specific shampoo is really great though!!

I had to use it 6 times, never had a terrible shampoo as this My hair got horrible once I rinsed it . I wasted money aTime and product to clean my hair. I am very disappointed ☹️

This conditioner is DANGEROUS! Leaves a thick layer of oil in the tub that does NOT rinse off with water alone. Scrubbing and dish soap is all that will make the tub safe again for children, the elderly, the disabled, or anyone really. Please do NOT use this. I love the Nexxus brand most of the time but this stuff is a no go in my house. Threw the bottle away.

Just discovered this and the conditioner online. Took their questionnaire. My hair was getting frizzy and it is very fine and delicate. These tamed it. Highly reccomend.

It doesn't have a super strong smell to me. It rinses cleanly and I've definitely noticed an improvement in my hair since using!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got Nexxus Ultralight Smooth Shampoo for my wife to use on her color treated, thick, wavy hair. She told me that she and her sisters used to use it all the time years ago and that it made her hair so soft. However, all these years later, she was not happy with this Nexxus Smooth Ultralight Shampoo at all. She said the minute she put it on her wet hair, she noticed that it kind of matted her thick hair and didn't suds up at all. It was extremely hard to separate the strands and rinse it clean as well. She rinsed it as best she could and used conditioner next, but it honestly didn't soften or smooth her hair at all. It was a horrible hair washing experience for her and she will not be using Nexxus again. She also thought the smell of the shampoo was annoying and was too fruity. I then tried it on my African American hair but didn't notice anything special about this shampoo. It didn't make either one of our hair smooth at all. I didn't mind the smell as much, but I can't say that I liked the scent at all. For these reasons, we would not recommend this Nexxus Ultralight Smooth Shampoo at all. Especially due to the way that it matted her hair while washing. We will not be using this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nexxus Ultralight Smoothing Shampoo has been interesting to use so far! I have very frizzy wavy/curly hair.. this actually does help smooth it! But it also feels a bit drying? The texture that it leaves is a bit odd. I don't hate it but it's definitely an interesting combination so far. Smooth yet dry but textured. I would recommend it so far, but I'm curious to see what happens a few months from now!

It made my hair smell great and I noticed that it was shiny and looked healthy. My hair tends to get frizzy and unmanageable but while using this shampoo I had no problem with my hair be8ng frizzy.

It did manage to tame some to of the frizz but with the rainy weather lately..... I will need to purchase the conditioner to see if that helps even more.
