Amazing addition to my Mario collection

Very well made and user friendly...

My oldest son grew up during the Nintendo era playing Mario. When I saw this had to buy for my grandson. Father and son both are enjoying this Mario car!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my grandson, and while it looks well made and visually impressive, this is truly a terrible toy. First, the packaging is almost impossible to open without frustration. Once you finally get it out, you’re hit with the biggest issue: it requires SIX C-size batteries. In 2025, there is absolutely no excuse for a toy like this not to be rechargeable. To make matters worse, the battery compartment is secured with two small screws that are difficult to remove and reinstall. Given how quickly this toy drains batteries, you’ll be opening that compartment constantly. The screws go into thin plastic, which will not hold up over time — eventually stripping out and making the toy unusable. As for performance, it’s very disappointing. The car barely drives properly, mostly just moving forward and backward, turning awkwardly, or going in circles. There’s nothing “extra large” or exciting about how it actually plays. This toy could have been fantastic. It looks amazing and feels solid at first glance, but the poor design choices completely ruin it. I’m very glad I didn’t give this to my grandson — he never even saw it. It’s going straight back for a full refund. Do not buy this. You will be sorry.

It’s great kids friendly

This thing looks cool but that’s all it has going for it. It is SO slow and has no other redeeming qualities. So if you want it to be something besides a decoration find something else. Waste of money.

They really should have made this rechargeable. It EATS through the battery power from the AA batteries, and you need a lot of the t make it work. I invested in rechargeable AA batteries and they struggled to keep it powered up well enough to enjoy playing with the toy for a decent amount of time for my child. It was super cool with brand new good batteries, but it's a money pit with the battery usage and lack of ability to just plug it in to recharge
