No, the Joy-Cons for The Switch 2 uses a new magnetic or "clap" connection for its Joy-Cons, which is not physically compatible with the slide-rail mechanism on the original Switch.

Does not last
I know people look a the 1 stars first. For the first year, the nintendo switch 2 joy cons worked very well. However, mine are just now starting to have the same problem as the original joy cons. It is a great product, but its performance doesn't last forever.

Good controllers with some defects out of the gate
Price not ideal but Good controllers but be aware of defective ones that may hiss on ya during charging. This is a defect confirmed by Nintendo rep (June 7th )
