A: Yes! I'm sensitive to scents and this was too strong for me. I wish they made a product that was unscented. I liked the lotion but would not stop sneezing. Had to shower to get rid of the scent.

Long time user, Severely disappointed by new formula
I’ve been a loyal Nivea customer for over 10 years, and the Shea Lotion has always been my go-to. The previous formula was wonderfully thick, nourishing, and kept my skin hydrated all day. Unfortunately, the updated version doesn’t deliver the same results. It feels thinner, more water-based, and leaves my skin feeling dry shortly after application. I truly hope Nivea will consider revisiting the original formula, or at least offering it alongside the new one, because it was a product I could always rely on.

Awful new scent/formula
I’ve been using this particular Nivea for many, many years. My last 2 bottles have a powder like smell. I’ve also noticed it is not as moisturizing as it used to be. I noticed that a while ago, but loved the clean scent. Now the scent is different and frankly off putting. Upset I just bought another one thinking the last bottle was just defective. Seems like this is a new formula. I’ll be looking for a new moisturizer .

Plastic Smell
This is my favorite lotion. I have gone through numerous bottles. But this bottle I just recently purchased has a plastic smell to it. It’s not the same clean and fresh scent it has always had. I am planning on returning it :(

I’ve loved this lotion for so many years that I ended up buying the giant value size bottle. I love the fresh and clean smell but upon initial use, it smells kind of plastic-y. It eventually dries down to the smell but it’s off-putting. Not sure if I got a defect bottle or what.

I know this lotion has bad reviews based mainly on lack of moisture. I admit that I used it a while ago and even though I liked it a lot, it was lacking a bit for me at the time. I decided to give it another go since my skin has been particularly picky lately and I really love this simple but great formula (its smell is also milder than the rest of the Niveas in my opinion). Nivea, I would love to know if you've improved the formula because now it's AMAZING!! So nourishing without feeling heavy! It softens, moisturizes, it's perfection to me. For you sensitive skin peeps, give this a try!!! Also, the aroma is mild and milky. SO GOOD!
