Not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, I received this complimentary to test it out, and here is my review. Honestly, this product just was not for me or my needs. When filling out the survey it asked if I had color treated hair currently, I said no, then it asked if I had gray hairs, which I do so I said yes. This is NOT to cover your gray strands, for sure, I mean it is in the name, root touch up, so I cannot say if it will cover a small area like your growing roots, but my strands? Nope. Some, yes, most? No, so definitely this was not the product for my needs. Now let’s get on to the product itself. It’s basically a mascara, yes as in the eye mascara, so you open the bottle leaving the clear cap on, and then brush the mascara over your gray hair and then, cap it and uncap the clear cap and use the brushes to distribute the product, make sure it doesn’t “clump”. I did not try using hair spray on it after applying it, but thankfully it is winter because this will definitely come out if you sweat without some sort of setting, which I don’t know if it will be hair spray, so if you want to give it a go, give it a run at home after working up a sweat, don’t get caught by surprise out and about. It did transfer when I touched my hair after it dried, so be careful, definitely get dressed before applying this, not after! It does have a scent but nothing wild that would bother you. If you need small coverage areas, give it a try, if you have long hair and have grays here and there you wish to cover, def this is not for you. I have yet to test it on a beard, my husband recently shaved but it’s growing it out, I will try and come back to edit and see if it works on beards and how that goes after a few uses!
