Q: I was wondering are the treatments painful?

A: Hi! Unlike laser hair removal, IPL or intense pulsed light hair removal is generally considered to be much safer and less painful. This is because IPL uses a multi-spectrum bulb vs a single-wavelength laser. You may feel a slight tingle in sensitive areas during treatment, but it should not be painful. A: Hi Yo! The Flasher 2.0 works best on light to medium skin tones with dark hair. It's not recommended for very deep or dark skin tones, as the technology targets the pigment in the hair follicle and may not be effective on deeper skin.

Red hair, especially lighter shades, doesn’t absorb the light as effectively, so results can be limited. If your hair is a deeper auburn or has some darker strands, you might still see some benefit, but lighter red tones typically won’t respond well.

A: Hi Roxxy! You don’t need to use polarized glasses with the Flasher 2.0. The device is designed with built-in safety features to prevent accidental flashes, and as long as you’re using it as directed (with the flash window fully flush against your skin), there shouldn’t be any direct light exposure to your eyes. If you're especially sensitive to light, you can absolutely wear sunglasses or protective eyewear for extra comfort! 💛

Waste of Time and Money
I have the exact combo that this is supposed to work for, light skin and dark (black brown) hair. I have done this 2x per week for almost 3 full months at full power and have not seen a reduction in hair growth. The device changes its power level on its own as you use it. Sometimes it changes on the number itself display on the screen, but often times it says it is at the highest level, but you can tell that it’s not because it does not flash as brightly, and it does not sting at all. I have to turn it off and turn it back on to get it to feel like it’s doing something. I’m really upset that they have such a short window for returns of this expensive item. I will not be purchasing items of this caliber through Target in the future.

I am notorious for buying things that are all hype and no payout, but I've finally made a purchase I have zero regrets about. The Nood has been more beneficial than my 3 months of laser hair removal I got a few years ago. Honestly, I don't even use it the recommended amount and I am still in shock from my results. I have dark hair and have always needed to shave everyday if I wanted smooth legs/underarms. And my bikini line- I always had ingrown hairs unless I shaved in a way that meant shaving that area everyday. But now!! I think I have had the Nood since late December, and I've used it approximately 5 times, not including the test week (which I followed exactly). The results are amazing. I actually could see the areas that the laser hit as my hair grew out on my legs. By my 5th time, I am just starting to see stubble on my legs almost a week out. My bikini line is visibly thinned and the ingrown are few and far between. My armpits are patchy and I couldn't be more happy with this product. I am pretty sure my directions said to do this twice a week (I am going off memory here) but I am busy and this TAKES TIME- that said, I am still seeing results. I do my entire leg, bikini line and armpit and it takes about 45 in total, but I am meticulous. I also make sure I exfoliate in the shower before shaving when I know I will be doing a session with the Nood. I am so impressed with this device that I have been trying to convince anyone who will listen to get one themselves.

OMG!!! I was skeptical about trying another IPL device as I had tried one previously with no results, but Nood really works!!! I started battling facial hair in my mid 30s and had tried everything I could to remove it permanently with no luck. I have been using Nood for about 4 weeks now and I no longer have a 5 o'clock shadow that I need to remove in the evening. My face is also still pretty smooth when I wake up in the morning. Nood has been a game changer and has helped boost my confidence!! If you are thinking about hair removal, I HIGHLY recommend Nood.

Doesn’t work. Used it religiously for several months. Started to notice SLOWER hair growth but doesn’t eliminate hair growth. Now that I’ve stopped using it, the hair as grown back as normal.
