Works so good!
Just a few spritz’s and my knots come out. It has a great scent too. I also use it on the grand babies heads, so not to make them hate getting their hair done.

Not good for volume!
Really good for extremely dry hair but it made my hair too limp b/c of the amount of moisture. Would likely work better on thick, curlier hair (my hair is fine and 3A).

New formula is awful!
NYM is claiming that only the packaging has changed and not the formula - not true! The product used to be liquid and my hair loved it. Now it's so INSANELY thick that it can't even spray out of the bottle correctly and it instantly clogs the sprayer, rendering it useless. It's not the new sprayer, either. I swapped out the sprayer from one of the old pink bottles and got the same result. I've also tried adding water to the bottle and shaking it in the hopes of thinning it out and nothing works. I've been using this for years but I'll be returning what I've just received and will switch to something else. Why did you ruin it?

So disappointed to have a company change the formula and say it’s the same. Just because certain ingredients are meant to replicate something does not guarantee that it will work the same. The new ingredients are vastly different than the old formula. I had used their products for years but can’t trust a company that will lie and gaslight its customers into believing a formula is the same when it is only meant to replicate the original formula. The new product does NOT work like the old one did. The new one feels heavy and leaves a film on hair like you left shampoo in your hair. So disappointing!

I've been using this product for over a year now and it it's perfect for what I need! I spray it onto my hair when done showering, while my hair is still soaking wet, towards my roots since I can't use hair gel so close to my scalp. It smells wonderful and works wonders!

100% worth the higher price tag than other detangling sprays
Absolutely love this product! My children are mixed and have very curly and very uniquely textured hair. This is the first detangler I've found that works on their hair so effortlessly. It works best when the hair is damp so I spray through their hair with water and then spray it with the detangler. Then starting the bottom I'm able to work my way up and through all of the hair with less yanking and pain than any other detangler I have ever used on them. It also smells really nice so that's a very pleasant bonus.
