Nourison Passion Colorful Area Rug Charcoal Ivory 4' x Round

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing a strong odor from your area rug. This can be quite frustrating, and I’d like to help you with some steps you can take to alleviate the smell. We want to assure you that our rugs are safe to use and have in enclosed spaces. One effective method is to use baking soda. Here’s how you can do it: Sprinkle Baking Soda: Generously sprinkle baking soda over the entire surface of the carpet. Make sure to spread it out evenly to create a thin coat. Let It Sit: Allow the baking soda to sit for several hours, or even overnight if possible. This will give it time to absorb any odors trapped in the fibers of the rug. Keep the Area Clear: During this time, it's important to keep pets and children away from the treated area to ensure safety and effectiveness. Vacuum: After the baking soda has had time to work, vacuum it up thoroughly. Be sure to monitor your vacuum cleaner bag or canister, as baking soda can fill it quickly. This method should help reduce the odors significantly.
