A: It is between and 1/8” and 1/4” thick. It is a very thin, right woven rug. We used the larger size in our dining room for years and it held up well to two toddlers and a dog. The colors are beautiful and work well with traditional or modern decor.
A: I would say it is 1/4" thick.
A: It is fairly thin overall but the two short ends are folded over and sewn. As long as you don’t put those in front of the door you should have no problem opening and closing the door.
A: I have one at my front door and have no problems with the thickness. Added a couple no slip pieces on the back corners to keep it from slipping. Otherwise a beautiful rug.
A: Hello lala77 - This stylish rug will add the warmth and durability you're looking for. It's recommended that you spot clean only and blot spills promptly. Thanks for checking out our rug collection. Enjoy your shopping. -Yamell
A: My kitty just threw up on my brand new rug! :( I spot cleaned it using vinegar and baking soda and it came pretty clean, but definitely not an easy rug to clean. Hoping it withstands the family
A: i have one in my living room which received some foot traffic wear and dirt. spot cleaning didn't work so well and my local rug cleaner wanted more than what i paid for it so i took a chance and washed it outside laying flat on my driveway with a power washer on a very hot day. A little diluted dawn soap, a good spray down and then dried it flat. it worked great! some of the glued backing came a little loose on the corners but nothing that a glue gun couldn't fix.
A: It will fall apart in the washing machine. Experienced that last week and returned for a new one. Blot spills or spot clean.
A: Hi cm - This rug will be great for any space! It has various colors of gray. Happy shopping! - Patricia
A: I’ve bought this three times and in my room, it’s more flax, green, and gray looking. Fabulous! I have lots of natural light. Love the rug but wish it came in 9x12. Also, be advised: It sheds like crazy! Be prepared to run a vacuum over it daily or get a Roomba. The Roomba will ball up the shedded materials into little flat oval tumbleweeds and dump them on the floor for you to discover. Contrary to what the Target rep keeps saying, the backing is not sticky. You will need double-sided carpet tape if you have wood or tile floors. The tape comes off easily and is much more effective than a pad. Warning: Lab puppies love to chew the corners! Spot clean only with Dawn, warm water, and a microfiber cloth. Make sure to blot dry or use a hairdryer to dry it if you have hardwood floors.
A: I have purchased several different sizes of the "gray". I would definently say the gray color is a gray/blue. Hope this helps.
A: Hello MK15 - That's a great question about the care and cleaning for this rug. It is recommended to spot clean or wipe clean the rug if dirty. This is a flat woven rug, so there are no loose yarns, as they are tightly woven. Refer to your Roomba operating instructions for recommendations. Thanks for asking! - John
A: Hi, my Roomba has not ruined or pulled any of the threads on the two carpets, which I have. One is under the kitchen table, where my grandkids eats. I have had these rugs for over two years, they wear extremely well.
A: John clearly hasn’t used this rug. It sheds like crazy. See my comment under the “color” question for more info, as I specifically addressed Roomba.
A: The rug does not have rubber backing to prevent slippage. You will needs a rug pad placed under it.
A: I just bought this rug today at the store. There is absolutely not a latex backing on it. It's binded, but definitely does not have any latex on it. It will slide around. Not sure why the Target rep would say that.
A: Hi Susan - Good question! This rug does have a latex backing on it already but for extra cushion and safety, feel free to add a rug pad. Happy shopping! -Terra
A: Hmmm, the design must have changed. I have 3 of these rugs ( 3x5, 5x7, 9x12) and all have a fabric backing which is not rubberized. They are very flat with no plush or nap. I have a felt pad under each one. They look great and I am anxious to see how they wear.
A: Sus, this rug does not have any backing; it's reversible. The material is more like jute than rag, so it is fairly stiff. It is nice looking.
A: Hi Sus - Thanks for asking. This rug does have a backing made of latex and cotton to keep it in place. Have a great day! - Nathalie
A: Hello - It is recommended these rugs be spot cleaned only, which will aid in them keeping their fresh off the loom appearance. - Brionna
A: I vacuum mine weekly. No issues.
A: Hi PS5630 - Add this fun pop of color and texture to complete a styled space! We suggest checking out those really insightful reviews below to reference. Thanks for checking out our Threshold™ selection. - MJ
A: Yes, yes, yes. It sheds like crazy, but I’ve still bought the 7x10 one three times because the colors are gorgeous. I bought a Roomba who helps me with the jute bunnies.
A: The indigo multi does have quite a bit of teal, but it's light, aquamarine might be a better description. From more than a few feet away it doesn't stand out distinctly, but shows as washes of aqua amongst the other colors. The magnified view of the closeup photo on the website shows it accurately.
A: Hi Egdunn - Thanks for asking about this durable beautiful handwoven rug. There's hints of shades all across the blue-green spectrum in the Indigo rug. Have a great day! - Philip
A: I have the same color as what SCraig is describing, and I actually think that's "multicolor natural" in this listing. I ordered it over a year ago and the color name in my email is "multi-colored", but it really looks more like the "multicolor natural". I wonder if they added a new color. It's beautiful with lots of subtle colors mixed in; I think it would match a lot of different color schemes. We have a maroon couch and it complements it perfectly. It definitely does shed a lot, and the shedding hasn't stopped over a year later. We have bamboo flooring, and I don't notice the fibers showing up on it. However, if I sit on the rug, my pants will be entirely covered in lint/fibers. I wouldn't buy it if you have kids who will sit/play on it. I've considered replacing it for this reason, but it's just so pretty...
A: I had the multicolor. It was an off-white background with colors of red, yellow, orange and tan woven throuout. It was much lighter and subtle than the picture. It was a beautiful rug, but I got rid of it after a few months because the cotton fibers shed so much, no matter how much I vacuumed it, which was all the time.
