Q: Is the gray a clear gray? It looks like it has a blueish tinge online. Also, we have a lower hanging door, so I would need a low pile. Would this rug have a lower pile?

A: I bought 2 rugs and a runner. I find them to be totally gray (no bluish tint that I can see). I’m really pleased with them.
submitted byKatieM - 6 years agoA: I bought two of the 2'6"x3'10" rugs and they are a nice light/medium gray, low pile, and have no bluish tint at all. They're actually a beautiful color, not too dark or too light. I liked the first one so much that I ordered the second one.

Q: The picture shows a runner that seems to be more light brown color. Is that the tan color? It looks the same as the brown color showed on the other size area rugs. Is the runner picture shown the wrong color? I am confused!

A: Hello, GrammaK- We appreciate your interest in the item. One is for the tan color, and the other is for the grey. They were added to the website at different times, so I think that’s where this mishap happened. But one color is under each accent size rug, if that makes sense. Q: Will this rug harm wood floors? Your previous answer about this was not clear. You mentioned some wood floors would benefit from a rug pad. Aren't rug pads made to stop slipping?

This rug has held up well in a high traffic living room to kitchen hallway after 2 years. I wash it about 3 times a month in a machine without an agitator, and dry it on low. The only issue is tiny balls of the rubber backing are left in my dryer filter each time, so it's always washed and dried alone. I've hung it to dry, but it has more wrinkles if I do. I've got cats and it's never snagged or had any loose loops so I'm not sure why that's the experience of some reviewers. All in all, it's a solid buy and the pattern is nice for a neutral color. I just wish it came in a cream or beige color.

I was tickled that Target still had this pattern on the throw rugs. I purchased these previously years ago and have used them until the backing started wearing off and they started sliding around. Looking for a replacement, I found they still had the pattern and ordered them. I have been using them now for 3 weeks and the backing is not the same as the previous ones. They do not stay in place like the previous ones and slide around so that I need to keep readjusting them so the quality is not as good as it was. I am really disappointed as a throw rug should stay where you put it.

This rug has been very useful for me. For one, as a doormat, the closed loops were pretty essential and this rug has that. For another, it's a lighter color, which I think just looks better than the darker ones. I also needed the gray tone and that's another checkbox that worked. Also, it has raised loops, which is not my favorite since the lower areas can trap debris, but I can assure you that that's not an issue with this rug. I got two so one could be used while the other is in the wash, and I'm happy about that --it helps that this rug is affordable, especially on sale. The size is great, probably optimal for me, but it would have been nice to have the option of a larger size, too. I like the grippy undercoating, eventhough I know it will turn brittle and turn to dust over time. At that point the rugs will have to be thrown out or used to protect items while moving, or maybe a grippy underlayer could be added, I will have to cross that bridge when I get there. This is a great, very useful rug though and I super recommend it!

This rug is indeed washable. I purchased for by my front door and it has been through it. We have a French bulldog and it has survived a few accidents. It’s simple to clean I rinsed it & scrubbed by hand in laundry tub then throw it in the washing machine and it looks BRAND NEW. For the price you really can’t beat it!

I have purchased several of these rugs. They stay in place great. I mainly use them in my camper. They are thin enough underfoot so you don’t trip and they stay in place as we are driving to wherever we’re camping. They are so good and shake out great too.

I purchased these rugs in multiple sizes to make a path to cover bare spots around my area carpet when my elderly dog started having mobility issues. The weave is tight enough that she didn’t get her nails caught and they stayed in place so she had traction when walking. She has since passed away but we still use a couple of the smaller rugs near the front and back doors. They last for years.

I never write reviews, but I had to for this cheap rug. In less than 24 hours, this rug started falling apart. I would not recommend if you are going to walk on it at all or have pets. It’s a cheap rug for a reason, I guess.
