I bought this rug on the recommendation of the website of a national newspaper, hoping to use it in front of my kitchen sink. #1 It has a decided dye problem along the outside border of one side resulting it its looking as if white paint covers that area--reflecting a lack of manufacturing Q.A. #2 The rug is described as machine washable. It is far too heavy for home washing machines, and its backing doesn't look as if it would withstand many launderings. A shame. It looked good on paper.
