Calming when Triggered
Has a relaxing/calming effect when anxious/nervous. Can help with REM sleeping. But it will not knock you out. Will Not leave a hungover feeling like prescribed sleeping pills can. Give it a try, it might work for you too!

I ordered this product after reading that it might help with sleep/insomnia issues. And it seems to me that it did help. But then I read tryptophan can cause you to loose muscle mass, just when I'd noticed I didn't seem to have the strength I used to. So I don't know what to say. I've rated 3 stars since I'm indecisive. It was, comparatively, a better value than the competition.

I would give it 4 stars for appetite suppressant, 3 stars for helping my mood (but could just mean that dopamine is not my problem), but gave 2 stars because it constipated the heck out of me. I hate that because it really worked well on my appetite!

I do not want to be without L-Tryptophan; it helps me sleep at night. I use the Swanson brand and have found it as good as other brands that I have used, and the price is better.

Powder exhaled like smoke hour later Had to return
An hour after taking this pill, the Powder from the capsule actually got exhaled like smoke, freaked me out, found multiple other reviews on other sites saying the same thing. Had to return. Back to Source Naturals caps/tabs

Awesome product!
Ive always had trouble falling asleep even when I was young, then, A friend told me about this over a year ago and it relaxes me enough so I can fall asleep. My cortisol levels increase at night but lull during the day and I have anxiety so falling asleep quickly and waking without feeling drowsy is great for me! The price on this website is an added bonus as well!

This helps me fall asleep quicker. That is what I wanted it for and it is helpful for that. For me I need to take it maybe an hour or a little longer before bed for the effect to be noticeable. Also I found I had to adjust the amount of capsules until I found an effective amount. These aren't cheap but I can honestly say for me they are helpful.

It Works
My husband and I have a lot of trouble sleeping and this product has made a big difference for us. When he awakes in the middle of the night and can't return to sleep, he takes 500 mg. and fall back to sleep within 30 minutes. It makes me fall asleep at bedtime and helps to keep me asleep.

I take this with melatonin (10mg), L-Theanine (100mg), and Lemon Balm, Passion Flower, Scullcap Complex (2 capsules). This combination helps me get to sleep and wake refreshed in the morning.
