[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color of this rug is gorgeous. It is a bit variegated, which makes it a good choice in a traffic area. I placed it next to my bed and it is so soft. I also ordered the red pad to place underneath to keep it from slipping.

Going back to plush rugs after flat utilitarian feels really good. Also went from multi-gray colors to this deep lovely brick. Changes the mood in the house and me. Purchase three of these for entryway and two hallways

The color and style are beautiful, it feels so plush and comfortable on your feet, but the quality is not there for the price. I’ve had this rug since July/August, and it has never stopped shedding. And no I don’t mean normal wool lint. I understand wool rugs and natural rugs will shed some lint. This rug constantly releases short, broken wool fibers that look like tiny straw pieces all over my floor. Even with suction-only vacuuming, the debris comes back within hours.The fibers sit halfway out of the pile and then break off, so the rug always looks bad no matter how often you clean it. The backing of my rug is perfect and there’s no damage to it; the wool pile itself just seems to be breaking apart. Unfortunately, the shedding has not improved at all over the months I’ve owned it.For the cost, I expected something that would hold up better. The look is great (once you vacuum and hand trim it for hours lol), but the quality and ongoing maintenance issues make this rug really disappointing. I wouldn’t purchase this one again and I’m already looking to replace it.

This rug is great but for the price you wouldn't expect it to arrive with a black spot (defect) and not wrapped, just placed in a cardboard barely rolled properly. At minimum it should ve wrapped or rolled properly for appropriate handling. Sheds quite a bit, not too bad.

You get what you pay for I guess. It sheds like crazy when my cat gets to it.

Looks so rich and vibrant. Love the sheen it gives off. It sheds a bit as expected with such a thick pile, but has lessened over time. I want more colors!

I have a cordless vacuum and it works perfectly, even on the dog hair. So far, it has not shedded for me, however most wool carpets do. I highly recommend a rug pad for this rug as it doesn’t really have a backing on it.

I took my chances even though the other reviews said the rug gave more purple hues than brown but unfortunately it is very purple in the light. I will be returning the rug :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I regret buying this. On the one hand, the price is great, and the rug is substantive. On the other hand, it sheds so much that I have to vacuum everyday, and the color is a bit more yellow than I wanted.

I bought this rug to accent my fall decor in my kitchen and it's perfect! I love the color and how soft and plush it feels. I am going to buy a green one for Christmas time. Highly recommend!

Excessive balling and shedding, fills my vacuum to the brim with fibers, stretching so the lines are no longer straight. Awful purchase. I communicated my concerns within the 30 day window and Target reverted to the “purchase date” verses delivery date and would not refund or offer store credit due to it being a 3rd party purchase. Am in a credit card dispute per their recommendation. Buyer beware
