Nuloom Arrel Speckled Wool-Blend Area Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color of this rug is gorgeous. It is a bit variegated, which makes it a good choice in a traffic area. I placed it next to my bed and it is so soft. I also ordered the red pad to place underneath to keep it from slipping.

I was very pleased with both the color, a soft taupe-y dove grey, slightly more taupe than the computer image, and also the thick coziness...so much nicer underfoot than my former “dog rugs” which were thin and washable and held up under muddy paws, but I no longer have doggies, and these are definitely a step up! They are also easier to vacuum, because of their weight. They don’t bunch up when you pull the vacuum across. Highly recommend, especially if you are done with fake rugs. Fast shipping and no lines, though it was folded into a square. Very happy!! Looking at other colors to buy....these are also much less expensive than some retail shops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely brick color, not exactly sure why the title says speckled, there are some high low lights but I don't actually see speckles of color. Going back to plush rugs after flat utilitarian feels really good. Also went from multi-gray colors to this deep lovely brick. Changes the mood in the house and me. Purchase three of these for entryway and two hallways

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my rug now for about 6 months and it's in an area of my house that's rarely used and I am very careful while vacuuming. It's always shed and lost threads but I noticed the other week that one of the main threads from the backing was pulling up. I looked closer and realized the entire rug was splitting/falling apart in multiple areas. RUGS USA said there is nothing they can do since they only guarantee the rug for 30 days. Complete waste of money, I don't think it will last through the year.

We wanted something larger and more plush and this is perfect. It fills the space wonderfully well, feels amazing to walk on and looks beautiful in our room. We are extremely pleased.

Soft and what I was hoping for. Does definitely shed but it is slowing down and I have been vacuuming per instructions. Some loose threads at border, hoping it maintains integrity.

The color and style are beautiful, it feels so plush and comfortable on your feet, but the quality is not there for the price. I’ve had this rug since July/August, and it has never stopped shedding. And no I don’t mean normal wool lint. I understand wool rugs and natural rugs will shed some lint. This rug constantly releases short, broken wool fibers that look like tiny straw pieces all over my floor. Even with suction-only vacuuming, the debris comes back within hours.The fibers sit halfway out of the pile and then break off, so the rug always looks bad no matter how often you clean it. The backing of my rug is perfect and there’s no damage to it; the wool pile itself just seems to be breaking apart. Unfortunately, the shedding has not improved at all over the months I’ve owned it.For the cost, I expected something that would hold up better. The look is great (once you vacuum and hand trim it for hours lol), but the quality and ongoing maintenance issues make this rug really disappointing. I wouldn’t purchase this one again and I’m already looking to replace it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow what a beauty..., note that it definitely needs a pad under it otherwise it slides all over the place. Heavy and well-made. Using it in my dining room, maybe not a great choice and will see how it holds up to stains.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a darker rug to add some depth to my bedroom and this rug has been perfect. It still looks just as good as the day i got it, and that is with 2 dogs. Some fluff did initially come up in the vacuum when i first got it, but it never seemed to affect the rug's integrity at all. Great rug, especially for the price.

This rug is great but for the price you wouldn't expect it to arrive with a black spot (defect) and not wrapped, just placed in a cardboard barely rolled properly. At minimum it should ve wrapped or rolled properly for appropriate handling. Sheds quite a bit, not too bad.
