used it in our piano room. looking for a plain base for the room, was hoping it was going to be a little more elegant than what it was. not as nice as i was hoping for, but still works for the room. will try and spruce it up with rug layering and additional decor

I have had numerous rugs in this style, but none as uncomfortable as this one. I would literally get little splinters in my hands/feet. Definitely go with a different brand in this style.

Overall this rug is ok. I wanted a rug for under my dining room table so wanted something that wasn't a plush fabric as I knew food would be falling all over it. The rug is a rough texture- feels more like an outdoor rug (which was ok to me). It has a non skid backing on it already. My only concern is the outer border was like attached separately, so the rug backing does not extend to that area leaving a flimsy fabric edge all the way around the rug. It will not lay flat and is somewhat raised and my children were tripping every time they went near the table. I decided to use packaging tape and tape the edges of the rug down to my floors for safety. I just have never seen a rug that the edges are just fabric without a firm backing to it. I took off stars for that.

The color was different than pictured. I assume the flash in the studio didn't help. I wasn't a fan of the texture so I ended up returning. Could be a nice rug, just not my taste.
