The rug is absolutely beautiful and softer than 100% jute rugs since it is part cotton. Really livens up a bland room. I do see what other reviewers are talking about when it comes to quality. The material isn’t tightly woven so it could possibly snag easily. I’m not too concerned because this is in my teens son room (excuse the mess) and no animals. I think it would at least last a few years. I would recommend for the price, as long as no animals and low traffic area.

While it will cover the area on the floor and it seems to be a natural fiber, it lacks any kind of structure that other Jute rugs I've had which make them hold their shape. This one, even with an anti-slip rug pad, will not. I bet the edges will curl and the whole thing will wear very quickly.... Hmmm... While $100 is a good price for a 5x7 rug, no price is really good for poor quality. I imagine this will last about a year...
