The rug is casual and adds a balance to my adjacent, open floor plan, more formal living room. The color is a true navy. Jute naturally is a rough weave, so that was expected. I like it.

I have no complaints regarding ordering, timely delivery and quality of product. Wow, that can be rarely said because there always seems to be one problem. I previously had a multicolored rug in the living room that needed to be replaced. I chose to take a leap of faith and try a jute rug. It has made the living room look bigger and more comfortable. Heavy, shed lots of dust, rough on the feet for those that don't bring shoes in the home. It seems all jute rugs are this way though
When we unwrap Ed the rug the packing was dry but the rug smelled very heavy of mildew
