The Luxury Vinyl Plank Safe Rug Pad is engineered specifically for vinyl plank and tile flooring, constructed of felt and an EVA non slip backing. This pad is designed without rubber and latex, and does not contain harmful plasticizers, such as phthalates, that can react with certain floor finishes. Its closed cell backing provides a moisture barrier, stopping spills and pet accidents alike from seeping through to your floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this pad to go under a runner I purchased, the rug moves on the runner, very odd, so we have put a pad between the pad and the runner to stop movement. Not great. The pad has some thickness and that is what we wanted, but the pad doesn’t work as I would expect.
Protect the vinyl plank and love it.

After trying several other rug pad types, I have found this one to be the best for delicate flooring like waxed ceramic tile, brick, and old growth pine. Some key criteria in my search included no rubber, latex, or plasticizers-- this rug pad meets all three! Eventhough I don't have pets, the moisture barrier is an added bonus. I highly recommend this product-- it is worth the upcharge over the 'Premium Rug Pad'.

We have luxury vinyl plank floors and this specifically states that it is good for these floors.When package arrived, the label says for wood and another type of flooring - doesn't mention LVP. I thought I received the wrong one but in looking at my order it was correct. So I really am hoping it's good for LVP
