The Luxury Vinyl Plank Safe Rug Pad is engineered specifically for vinyl plank and tile flooring, constructed of felt and an EVA non slip backing. This pad is designed without rubber and latex, and does not contain harmful plasticizers, such as phthalates, that can react with certain floor finishes. Its closed cell backing provides a moisture barrier, stopping spills and pet accidents alike from seeping through to your floor.

I put it on my new luxury vinyl floor based on the title of the product and on the online description. My concern is that the package insert did not say anything about this product being safe for vinyl flooring. So, my fingers are crossed that it will not harm my new floor.

Trimmed to be slightly smaller than our floor mats and they hold their position on the floor very well. Also the extra padding is nice. Good price and quick shipping too!

Not great. The pad has some thickness and that is what we wanted, but the pad doesn’t work as I would expect.

After trying several other rug pad types, I have found this one to be the best for delicate flooring like waxed ceramic tile, brick, and old growth pine. Some key criteria in my search included no rubber, latex, or plasticizers-- this rug pad meets all three! Eventhough I don't have pets, the moisture barrier is an added bonus. I highly recommend this product-- it is worth the upcharge over the 'Premium Rug Pad'.
