Less than 6 months and it's completely faded
I'm incredibly disappointed with this purchase. It has faded almost completely in the areas we walk on it. And because we bought it in Canada we're basically stuck with it. Huge rip off, do not purchase!!

Octopus rug
Absolutely love the whimsical octopus design! It really gives our living room a cool vibe and goes well with our sofa and chair.I do have a few minor quibbles that prevent it from getting 5 stars... The colors are not as vibrant as they looked online and the light areas show any speck of dirt or dust. The tassels were a mess, definitely did not work for a high traffic area with 2 teenagers! We decided to cut them off and actually like it better without them. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful rug. One of the tassles has come apart but I have cats so I'm not heartbroken about it. My biggest qualm is that the color will bleed/fade if you get a stain on it and thus, rub the stain out. The dye seems to be very gentle and the darker parts will come off easily if you rub too hard. I have a few spots that are now bleached a bit (also because I have cats that love to throw up on this rug).

Love the rug, hate the dirt!
We've had this rug down for 6 months. It picks up every bit of dirt, and doesn't let it go. I did not use a protective spray prior to installing it, I would highly recommend that. It's cotton, I'm going to try to pressure wash it in the spring and see how that works. I've gone ahead and ordered the washable version as a replacement with hopes it holds up better than the cotton.
