It glides on super smooth and dries down matte, but it doesn’t dry out my lips like other matte lipsticks do 😩. The color looks super natural and is perfect for school, going out, or just snapping selfies 😆📸 ✨ + Lasts 3–4 hours even after drinking and chewing gum ✨ + Super cute packaging – fits in every tiny purse ✨ + Smells like vanilla and I’m obsessed 🥹 📌 Only thing is: if your lips are dry, maybe use a balm under it for extra smoothness. I’ve been using the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream for a while now, and honestly, I really like it. The texture is super soft and creamy when you first put it on, almost like a mousse, and then it dries down to this nice, lightweight matte finish. It doesn’t feel heavy or dry on my lips like some other matte lipsticks do. The color payoff is really good — you don’t need a lot to get bold color, and there’s a great variety of shades to pick from. I’ve tried a few, and they all apply pretty evenly. The only downside is that it doesn’t last super long if you’re eating or drinking, and if your lips are dry or flaky, it can look a little patchy. So I make sure to exfoliate first or use a balm underneath if I need it. Overall, it’s a great everyday lip product, especially for the price. I’d definitely recommend it if you want something matte but comfortable.

I recently tried the the Matte Lip Cream by nyx and I’m genuinely impressed. The formula is lightweight and glides on like a dream—it applies more like a mousse than a traditional liquid lipstick, which makes it super comfortable for all-day wear. Soft and velvety, almost whipped. It doesn’t tug or dry too quickly, giving time to blend and perfect the edges. It lasted around 6 hours without touch-ups, even through coffee and light snacks. I like that it has a light scent as well. Great lippie!

I wanted to love this lip cream, but the formula felt too dry and patchy on my lips. It didn’t apply evenly, and the finish cracked quickly. The scent was artificial, and it transferred more than expected. The packaging is nice, but the product itself didn’t work for me.

I’ve been using NYX matte lip cream for years now and I have zero complaints! All of the colors are gorgeous on every skin tone. They’re cute, compact, and affordable. You can get them at almost every store. A great repetitive buy in my family.

This is a good product. You get the matte look without something that’s going to completely dry out your lips. It doesn’t stay as long as a matte lipstick that dries down, but it’s definitely much more comfortable. For the price, it’s definitely worth a try.
