Description
The FLEXIMOUNTS OHK38-E overhead garage rack in white comes with 4 GRH1B-E and 4 GRH2B-E hooks for convenient hanging of small items. With a large 3 ft. by 8 ft. platform and a 600 lb. weight capacity (evenly distributed), it provides ample and sturdy storage space. The rack is height adjustable from 22 to 40 inches below the ceiling, making it suitable for installation above most garage doors. Its 26.4-inch ceiling brackets are designed to span two joists for enhanced stability, while the welded grid and frame offer added structural integrity. The durable, scratch-resistant powder coat finish ensures long-lasting performance.
The rack can be mounted either parallel or perpendicular to the direction of ceiling joists. Note: Installation requires two people and basic tools, including a ladder, drill, tape measure, eye protection, and a stud finder. This rack must be secured into traditional lumber ceiling joists—do not install using drywall anchors or into engineered I-joists.

So convenient and simple
Very strong and incredibly convenient for storing the stuff accumulated after 20 years in my home. I am extatic to have a clean garage again. I added a couple of crossmembers for lateral support due to the height of my ceilings.

Not as sturdy as expected.
The shelves after installing are not as sturdy as I would expect. Especially the center mounts where drywall anchors were required. Not sure how long they’ll last with stuff on them.

Overhead Shelving
The overhead shelving was easy to install and they seem very durable. Supposedly, they hold up to 750 lbs and I have about 500 lbs on the shelve with no issues. Best of all, they were very affordable. Looking to add more shelving to your garage, I would seriously consider these shelves.
