Don't buy unless you want holes in your door
These shelves are advertized as "over the door," but, they require screwing into the door with anchor bolts. The description says at least four times that it's an "over the door" rack, but there is not a single mention of the need to put several holes in your door. Few people would want to put holes in their door!!! So, why is the info on that not disclosed?? While at the same time, the "over the door" aspect is mentioned a full FOUR times? So, I am donating this review to help others. We should not have to be our own warning system for free, but I don't want anyone else to be a victim of false advertising, so I'm donating my time. I already donated time to report on the false information, too. Once on the page for these shelves, and another in customer service. Dunno if my being ripped off of money and new time I wil have to put into this to find a different, functional over the door rack, plus the time needed to accurately review this item, plus report on it on the page, plus report on it to customer service .... will actually get them to move on fixing it all, but we will see. I know that Target loves to keep putting out deceptive advertizing, as for these OTD shelves, but at the same time, Target hates accurate reviews of such items, so we will see, too, if Target steals this comment, which is meant for the customers, as I already contacted Target about this and they already got the communication meant for them. Will they steal my money, my time and effort, and this comment which belongs to the public, now, too? Will they fix their own problems, which they get paid to do, while people like me are not paid a dime for being forced into their messes? Target is mainly good, but eventually they will stab you.
