A: I have extremely sensitive facial skin, especially my eyelids & eyes. Most products burn. I've used several jars of this cream with no probs whatsoever. Feels satin-like going on!

A: I've used several jars of this product. I'm very sensitive to smells, but this cream is almost odorless. The very faint scent is not off putting at all. Plus, it's very hydrating & feels heavenly.

Q: Has anyone had issues with irritation with this product? I used the Olay in the red jar for a few years. I switched to the purple jar and my skin has a bit of irritation. Especially my neck.

I find this to be a great option if you aren’t looking for something super natural ingredient wise. I love that it’s fragrance free, moisturizes well and is gentle on sensitive skin. I don’t love the price and the slight after residue it leaves. But if you use skin products frequently, it’s probably not a big deal for you.

Regardless of being fragrance free I started getting extremely itchy bumps all over my face within 2 nights of using. The texture feels like a primer not a moisturizer & started giving a chemical burn in my t zone. Returned!! Ironically, my fragranced collagen night cream by L’Oréal was far better and caused no issues nor did the L’Oréal Midnight Recovery cream! Go figure. In fairness, the only thing I like from Olay is their “classic” fluid lotion (the old school one) that has a fragrance free version but I have to put the Vichy-89 serum underneath it. Hope this helps someone sensitive and dry! :)

I usually use the Olay Regenerist Night Retinol 24 lotion and decide to give this a try. It was a huge mistake as this lotion leaves a white filmy residue (texture like dried flour) and also it felt very sticky, as if I've been in the sauna or sweating. I'm def returning and exchanging for the other Olay Regenerist Night Retinol 24 where it feels fresh, light, and non-sticky.

This is my one and only facial moisturizer! It is fantastic leaves my skin feeling soft and does not irritate. I am upset that this product is hard to find now, being replaced with the retinol version which my skin hates.

I have been using this product for about 3 years every night and I love the way it makes my skin feel. I keep coming back to this one bc it leaves my skin hydrated and not greasy. A lot of reviews say if leaves a white cast and greasy but I think it depends on your skin type. I am oily/combination and in the winter it keeps my hydrated, in the summer I do not feel greasy. A great product to add to your nighttime routine!

I'm super disappointed I wasted my money in this product. It doesn't soak into the skin at all. It leaves a film on my face and if I wipe my face, a bunch if white residue forms on my fingers. It just feels super greasy.

There are different factors that can contribute to what’s known as “pilling” -- moisturizer balling up on the surface your your skin -- or flaking when using a moisturizer. Here are some tips to help prevent this from happening: Be sure to apply your moisturizer to clean, dry skin. Pilling/flaking can be caused by using too much moisturizer or by rubbing it in too hard. Try using a little less product, and a lighter touch. If you’re using a cream, it might be too much moisture. Try switching to a lotion or serum for the daytime, and use your cream at night. The best night moisturizer when using with my other nighttime products. I have very sensitive skin so when using anti-aging products my skin gets extra irritated. This has been the only moisturizer that I can layer on top the products that calms my irritation.

I love the microscuplting cream so I thought this night cream would be similar or better. It unfortunately made my face break out within a week of using it. My face cleared up within two days of stopping use. I will stick to the microscuplting cream going forward.

This is one of my go to night creams. I tend to mix them up depending on the dryness of my face or the season. But the thick consistency of this cream is really nice and my face absorbs it up really well. I also have pretty sensitive skin - i rarely wear foundation for this reason - but this face cream has a good neutral scent and I have no issues with it. It isn't a face cream I use when my face is feeling SUPER dry, but on my more normal days this cream does the job and has my face feeling really happy and moisturized for the night.

I use other olay creams with no issues. The shea butter with peptides is nice. This night recovery is so irritating, I tried to use it up on my arms and they got red and irritated too! What a bummer as it’s so expensive. Patch test ladies.
