To prevent this from happening, be sure to apply the product to clean, dry skin. Sometimes the piling and flaking can be caused by too much product being used or rubbing it in too hard. We recommend using less than you normally would and patting it onto your skin instead of rubbing it in. Since you're using a cream, it may also be too much moisture.
