A: While it is similar, it is not the same. Our Advanced Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Hydrating Moisturizer contains 25% more Vitamin C Complex vs. Vitamin C Lightweight Moisturizer. The advanced version also contains Vitamin E. Both brighten dull skin and correct the look of uneven tone and texture. They are both oil-free, non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) and have a light citrus scent.

I was very disappointed that I couldn’t find their regular regenerist vitamin C moisturizer which used to be in a gray packaging. Not sure if this is just an updated version but it now has a scent. Fragrance on skin care is not for me so sad to see it was a different formula

Burns & Causes Widespread Acne
I’m surprised by all the good reviews of this stuff. The jar is very beautiful. The texture is nice and the smell is nice… which in some ways is almost to turn off cause it makes me think there must have fragrance in it. I was surprised how much it burns on application, but I guess I should expect some burning due to vitamin C and the AHA (lactic acid) in it. While uncomfortable, my face did have an appearance of being hydrated and somewhat glowy when first applied. However, I applied it morning/night as instructed over 3-4 days and noticed that each day I was progressively getting more and more small acne bumps all over my face, like little whiteheads. I really haven’t had acne prone skin at all for many years now, so I’m feeling pretty confident it was related to this product. I have tried many various products in recent years with lactic acid and have not had this reaction. I’m going to stop using this and switch to a different moisturizer to see if my acne issues resolve.

Clear hydrating skin cream!
I have been using this for two years. The cream is much better than the serum drops. I ran out for 1 month and my face felt dry and started to see redness. Once I purchased it again, my skin feels smooth, hydrated and clear! The cream isn’t water/gelly, thick or sticky! It’s a perfect medium consistency.

Product is great - but be warned about purchasing "opened" products
Just purchased again yesterday in store, I am a frequent user of the product & the product itself works well for what it is. I enjoy using it. Typically, this product is in one of the security boxes & an associate has to open it. Yesterday none of the products were in the box, didn’t think anything of it. Opened the box this morning to use the product & upon unscrewing the jar there was no safety seal plastic wrap to take off that there usually is & the lotion itself feels different than normal? Will be bringing back into the store to see what the deal is because I am thinking someone stole the product & swapped with another lotion.

sticky and expensive
I rate this based on the fact it is very sticky even tho I used a small amount - as directed and also because I have used products I like better for 1/3 of the price. Does it make my skin glow? Yes, it does, I like the way it looks and smells - hate the sticky...

Use with caution
My eyes swelled, my t-zone was red and burning the next day after I applied the cream the night before. My skin started peeling off on the 3rd day and I am still recovering. I have rosacea and I am not sure if the ingredients triggered the problem.

I used this for 3 days and a woman stopped me and said my skin looked amazing and I was glowing. Never ever did anyone stop me to say that. I was skeptical but I truly feel this is making my skin look and feel amazing!!

My sister (65) and I (74) were excited to try Olay Vitamin C Lightweight Moisturizer. My sister's face turned red, itched & burned, It took a week for her skin to get back to normal. I continued to use it & same thing happened to me. So disappointed!
