I apply it early in the morning & it holds up pretty well the rest of the day. The scent may fade some but I never start stinking even if I do start sweating a tiny bit. I rarely ever had to reapply it twice over these past couple weeks of using it & usually it’s been when the day is almost over & I’ve been moving around a lot. I really like this ocean scent it’s not as overpowering as other scents of deodorant that smell strong like cologne. This one still makes a statement but it’s more subtle. This scent is a crisp & clean smelling scent. I really like this one & would repurchase again. It goes on drier than his regular deodorant and feels more comfortable when applied right after a shower while the skin is still slightly damp. Otherwise, the application can feel too dry. He tested it during outdoor work in the hot sun and was impressed—it helped minimize perspiration and kept odor at bay. After showering, it left behind a nice, fresh scent. The only drawbacks were the smaller size (2.6 oz compared to the 3.0 oz he usually uses) and the mention of “kelp” on the label. While he liked the ocean-inspired notes, kelp isn’t the most appealing scent description. Old Spice Deep Sea did exactly what it promised—kept him dry and fresh. The scent is strong, but a good scent that could be unisex and isn't overpowering. It can last a full day after application in the morning, which is something I can't get out of even the best "aluminum-free" standard deodorants. This antiperspirant is strong and ideal! I will say I tried to use the deodorant and my skin didn’t seem to tolerate something in the deodorant. My husband on the other hand has been using it daily and is just fine… so just keep that in mind if you have sensitive skin. Overall I definitely think we will be purchasing this scent in the future.
